Au premier Ă©tage d'un bĂątiment historique est nĂ©e Casa Dante, oĂč le rĂȘve de vacances exclusives avec une vue Ă  couper le souffle devient rĂ©alitĂ©. L'appartement dispose d'un grand salon d'oĂč vous pouvez accĂ©der Ă  la fois Ă  la cuisine et Ă  la terrasse: des meubles prĂ©cieux, des tapis persans originaux font de cette structure un lieu charmant et intemporel. De la magnifique terrasse, vous atteignez le petit jardin d'hiver bien entretenu: un lieu enchanteur qui rendra votre sĂ©jour exclusif.
Le bĂątiment oĂč se trouve la Casa Dante, qui tire son nom de la colline ("cĂŽte" dans la tradition florentine) du nom de San Giorgio, se trouve juste Ă  Oltrarno, Ă  30 mĂštres du Ponte Vecchio et Ă  seulement 10 minutes Ă  pied de la gare Santa Maria Novella. L'histoire de la structure se perd dans le temps, ne conservant que quelques traces indiscutables de son passĂ©: parmi celles-ci, l'inscription en marbre du XVIIIe siĂšcle dans laquelle tĂ©moigne l'utilisation de l'Ă©difice comme oratoire de Santa Maria Maddalena.
La structure a également été le protagoniste de films célÚbres du cinéma international.
Le quartier de Costa San Giorgio se trouve Ă  Oltrarno, entourĂ© de sites parmi les plus spectaculaires de toute la ville. Ponte Vecchio, le pont symbolique de la ville, Ă©tait le seul Ă  ĂȘtre Ă©pargnĂ© Ă  la fin de la seconde guerre mondiale. Il offre une vue charmante sur la riviĂšre et les maisons dans les boutiques typiques donnant sur la rue et l'arriĂšre-salle, composĂ©es d'un porte-Ă -faux ("sporto") directement sur la riviĂšre, parmi les plus cĂ©lĂšbres bijoutiers du monde. Les magasins ont Ă©tĂ© pris des anciennes arcades puis fermĂ©s.

Nice location 2 bedroom apartment

The apartment is very well situated near Ponte Vecchio and every boutique you may want to visit. We were hoping to have 3 bedrooms as the description said to discover once we were here that the owner consider a sofa bed in the living room as a bedroom. If you need only 2 bedrooms it’s a good apartment.

The appartment was clean and well located. The communication with the host wasnt the best. They wanted to charge us 100€ for the tourist tax when all the other places in Italy cost us between 10 and 2€ for the stay.

- trĂšs proche du centre et trĂšs belles chambres - en revanche Il n’y a que 2 chambres et non pas 3 comme indiquĂ© dans l’annonce, c’est le salon qui fait office de 3Ăšme chambre avec un clic-clac donc pour 2 couples avec enfants - impossible de faire Ă  manger pour 6 dans une cuisine de 2m2

Serena was a wonderful host! You can't beat the price given the location, as we were able to walk everywhere in Florence from there. It is a lovely home- it really is a home that accommodates visitors, not a residence redesigned specifically for Vrbo or Airbnb. Probably want to limit to 4 visitors- we had a group of 6, so 2 of us shared the sofa bed, which was as comfortable as you'd expect a sofa bed to be. And it was a fairly cozy space- plenty of room in the bedrooms, but the common areas were a little tight for 6 (would be plenty spacious for 4). But it didn't matter because the place was so close to everything, we didn't spend a lot of time hanging out there. Serena made sure to provide detailed instructions and all the necessities, plus a welcome care package! And whatever else we needed, there was a grocery store that was a 5-minute walk away. Truly enjoyed this experience.

Perfect location, easy access to grocery market, shopping, coffee/pastry shops as well as restaurants! The elevator was a God send as was a requirement for one of our party of five. We throughly enjoyed the outside breakfast nook/enclosed patio! We took advantage of that daily. Easy walk to the train station, took less than 20 mins. The Ponte Vecchio being basically in your backyard in incredible!! Thank you for sharing your home with us for an incedible vacay. We will be back.

Florence stay

Very nice property right near the Ponte Vecchio. The building had an elevator which was nice to be able to send our luggage up. The rooms were spacious and clean, nice linens were provided. The enclosed terrace room was nice to sit in for morning coffee or a wind down glass of wine. There was a broken window in the terrace room, but it did not affect the use. My only complaint was that the listing says washer and dryer and it was a community based laundry area in the basement that the entire apartment complex had access to. It was hard to find a moment when they weren't in use already. Also, if you have any mobility issues, keep in mind that there are a lot of hills and stairs in the surrounding streets of the apartment.

Amazing Location

The highlight of this apartment is its location. You can walk to everything from it, but it is on a quiet street and you feel like you get a true feel of Florence! We have been to Florence multiple times, and this was by far the best location we have stayed. The inside is spacious and the terrace is great. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Thought the location was great, liked the apartment layout. Kitchen is very tiny but functions well. Adored the little enclosed patio for reading in the morning and evening. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great location but listing was incorrect

The location was great! The listing said 3 bedrooms, it was o ly 2 with a pullOut bed in the living room! Also said washer and dryer, had washer on patio but no dryer! The main bedroom cover had a amell and maintenance brought us a new one which alleviated that isse but wasnt as clean as expected

Location is everything!

The location of this unit was excellent. Could not ask for a better location. Cleanliness was great. It was listed as a 3-bedroom, however the living room was considered as the third bedroom. Steps, parking, etc were to be expected in Firenze. Would stay again happily in the future when we only need 2 rooms.

The place is great and perfectly located. My complaint is that there are no 3 bedrooms but a bed in the living room, which is not a big deal. Be mindful you need to pay the host city taxes

Listing said 3 bedrooms, there are only 2 with a pullout sofa in the living room, could only shower in 1 bathroom (tiny) unless you want to squat and shower in the open tub. Listed AC, but it was broken. Listed a washer and dryer, which there was only a tiny washer that you could put maybe 10 things in at a time. Check in was frustrating. We didn’t know you had to look on the doors or how to. Only 1 working fan. Honestly, so disappointing. The only good thing was the location. Florence is beautiful. But this place was not great.the step in the first bathroom was a hazard So be careful..

Cool location near Ponte Vecchio

Location is great, clean and tidy. Tiny kitchen (smallest I've ever seen), shower also very small.Car is impractical but if you're planning on staying local, everything is within walking distance and easy to get to.

A great location but the apartment could use some love

This apartment is very well located and overall charming. Wonderful wine bar down the street and a grocery store 2 minutes walk away The outdoor space was nice to have and the apartment had some nice things like an elevator (though the elevator was too small for a travel stroller so definitely not wheelchair friendly) We were unpleasantly surprised by some aspects. The kitchen is TINY, much smaller than we expected based on the photos - barely a kitchenette. The terrace room had a pane of glass missing which was difficult to navigate with a toddler (it’s a 2 story drop - dangerous), and the kitchen wasn’t well stocked (not enough wine glasses, very dull knives) Some of the furniture was not as nice as in the photos or somewhat broken. The beds were comfortable and during our 17 night stay the linens were changed twice (nice & unexpected!) but the pillows were very lumpy. The listing is incorrect: there is no dryer, and we had to ask repeatedly for a drying rack to dry our clothes on. With the humid weather it took almost two days to dry things. Wouldn’t have been a problem except that the listing said there was a dryer. Other amenities listed, like the high chair and ping pong table, were nowhere to be found. I asked for the high chair and was told I needed to request it in advance, but it was listed as a feature of the apartment so not sure how I could have known that. I’d also sent the host our passports well in advance so she knew we had a 1yo with us. Only 2 bedrooms

You needed to be a Billygoat to get to this location very steep cobblestone Hill about a quarter of a mile uphill. I thought I was going up a ski slope. This was not mentioned at all in the description of the property. Other than that, the third bedroom is actually a pullout couch that was actually located in the living room not a bedroom,that was very uncomfortable. I ended up taking the cushion from the couch and sleeping on the floor with it. Other than that, the property was very nice and the location was very nice.

Beautiful apartment

We loved our stay! The apartment was perfect for our group of two couples. The outside terrace is beautiful, location was convenient for our stay, and the host Serena was excellent. Would happily recommend this apartment to anyone I know visiting Florence.

Beautiful apartment steps from everything! Set slightly off the main thoroughfare with the convenience of a lift in the building for luggage. Was a perfect stay for our family while in Florence - would stay again.

Good location

The location is great. That is the best part. The host attempted to charge each of us 110€ which she did outside of the VRBO app after getting my phone number from What’s AP when I sent wanted pictures of our passports. She reminded us several times before we arrived and needed cash. Other reviews noted this as well. I contacted VRBO who told us not to pay it. The tax in Florence is 5.5€.
