We stayed at this VRBO in Florence for three nights and unfortunately had a mixed experience overall. The location itself was convenient, but there were two major issues that were never disclosed in the listing.First, the apartment was extremely noisy every single night. Between street noise and late-night activity, it was very difficult to sleep. Had we known how loud the area was, we likely would have chosen a different place to stay.Second, the listing described the apartment as being on the “2nd floor,” which was very misleading by U.S. standards. In reality, it required climbing around 60 very steep stairs with no elevator/lift available. Getting luggage up and down was exhausting and unexpectedly difficult, especially after long travel days. This absolutely should be disclosed clearly in the listing so guests can plan accordingly. The apartment itself was acceptable, but the lack of transparency about the noise and stairs significantly impacted our stay. Overall, I would rate this property a 3/5 and recommend future guests ask detailed questions before booking.
