Florence on your doorstep

Beautiful hotel in the historic center of Florence. All staff, front desk, wait staff, kitchen, housekeeping, extremely friendly and helpful. Housekeeping services took place twice a day to make sure everything was fine. Lovely balcony to enjoy coffee, wine and company. Would come back repeatedly.

Great hotel in Florence

Great Hotel perfectly placed in centre of town and close to station and airport tram stop. Very good selection for breakfast and super friendly staff, recommended.

Easy to find and close to everything. Academia Gallery was only a 9 minute walk. Many restaurants and shopping at the market just minutes away. Staff was excellent as we had them hold our luggage while we toured the city. Breakfast was perfect with many options.

The location is excellent. Close to the train station and nestled within the city center. The rooms were very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was great. The staff at the front desk was a little rude at times, but I’m thinking it may have been the language barrier, as my husband and I are English speakers. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence. Be warned that because the hotel is located in the middle of a busy marketplace with a lot of restaurants it can be very loud at night, however the location is very much worth it.

Very nice staff. It is almost impossible to sleep. Beds are comfortable but every street sound is amplified and sounds like people are in your room all night. Curtains do not block windows completely so the streetlight light up the room. Hand held shower wand.

The hotel is in a great location, quiet and safe and there’s a person at the front desk 24/7. It is an old hotel, the rooms are small which is normal, but the bathroom was pretty rough which is why I gave it 4 stars. Walking distance to everything including the train station.

Hotel Botticelli offers an ideal location near Florence’s top attractions, including the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. The charming Tuscan-style rooms are cozy, well-maintained, and some offer lovely city views. The friendly staff provided excellent recommendations, and the breakfast spread was delightful, with fresh pastries and Italian coffee.

Breakfast was wonderful and the staff were great. The location was also very good and convenient. But the main problem was there was a strong sewage smell in the building that was very repulsive. Luckily it didn't come into our rooms, but the lobby and hallways were very stinky and we had to hold our breath. Also, the shower had a horrible design, where all the water would come out and flood the bathroom. I spent 30 minutes drying the bathroom every time I showered.

Fantastic Stay at Hotel Botticelli Our stay at Hotel Botticelli was absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our experience smooth and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety, perfect to start the day. The location is unbeatable, close to all major attractions and just a short walk from the train station, making it super convenient to explore the city. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort, a prime location, and excellent service, Hotel Botticelli is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Not only is this an amazing property, but the staff from the management front desk and cleaning make this a warm and inviting place each day to come back to. Seldom in my travels have I found a place to stay for multiple days that I felt cared for, and the surprising thing is their warmth and personal touch to our stay I think is normal….. this genuine touch is rare to find. This is my only choice in the future for accommodations while in Florence.
