Superb stay at gorgeous historic hotel in Florence! Interior decor is fabulous, bed extremely comfortable, interesting modern art throughout the hotel. Staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful with suggestions of things to do and where to eat. Also incredible location steps away from Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. I would 100% stay here again!

The room assigned to me was a real disappointment. It was completely dark, with a window that looked out onto a small, unlit courtyard, from which, among other things, strong kitchen odors were coming up. So in the evening I was going to sleep with the room smelling of fried food and cooking

The team were great, and Angelo was especially helpful. I loved the location, you can easily head out, explore, and walk back to the hotel within minutes to rest. As far as city-break hotels go, this was right up there. The hotel’s design is also excellent.

The rooftop was under construction and you heard hammering starting very early in the morning. There are no sheer blinds so if you opened the windows for light, people could see inside from the other building.
