Vue incroyable sur l’Arno, la Galerie des Offices et le Ponte Vecchio

Appartement trĂšs bien situĂ©, spacieux, trĂšs bonne literie. Les fenĂȘtres des 2 chambres et du sĂ©jour sont situĂ©es juste en face de la Galerie des Offices. La vue est incroyable ! L’accueil de Rachel Ă©tait trĂšs bien. Nous avons dĂźnĂ© Ă  l’Hosteria Ganino qu’elle nous avait conseillĂ© et avons beaucoup aimĂ©.

PrĂšs du pont Vecchio

Un bel endroit juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© du pont Vecchio et du fleuve. Distance de marche de la vieille ville et de tous ses attraits. Le restaurant au rez de chaussĂ©e est excellent et le service attentionnĂ©. Une Ă©picerie Ă  5 minutes. Pour tout vous dire c'est le genre d'endroit oĂč on pourrait retourner. Semble cependant que nous ayons commis un impair! Nous en Ă©tions Ă  nitre premier logement VRBO en Italie. Comme on ne nous a pas mentionnĂ© que nous devions porter les dĂ©chets Ă  un endroit particulier et que ce n'est pas inscrit dans les directives/ consignes. Nous avons fait comme ailleurs; nous les avons laissĂ© sur place..........semble que ça ait dĂ©plu. DĂ©solĂ© Rachel, assurez vous que cette consigne soit bien expliquĂ© et Ă©crite. Fantastic location! Just as the description says! Lovely large apartment, full of light. We enjoyed our stay very much. Rachel was easy to communicate with and the person who met us at the apartment was helpful as well. A great experience! For anyone wondering, there is a small elevator, but you must climb about 5 steps to get to it. However, the apartment building is on street with a hill anyway!

Whiskey the size and location was awesome, we were unable to use one of the bedrooms due to a fowl order that emanated from a wooden closet that was added to the room probably back in the 80’s. It was overpowering musty. The host initially refuted a smell existed, then agreed it did smell, and oh yeah, the air fresheners added before were old. She did replace them but now the room smelled musty with a hint of rose. I ended up spending g a few thousand more having to make alternate arrangements for my 87 year old mother who also said she couldn’t sleep in that room

This was very spacious and comfortable. It was well equipped with washer and two baths. Both bedrooms have incredible views of Florence and the living room dining table has the same views. Rachel was excellent host, maintained contact up to check in and was waiting for us upon arrival. Beds were comfortable and it has three air units. It was even stocked with coffee pods and basic cooking supplies. Great value for price and would without a doubt stay here again.

As advertised!

100% as advertised. Fantastic location. We walked everywhere while mixing the tourist things we wanted - duomo, David, pitti boboli, leather district, shopping, other stuff I'm forgetting, etc. while visiting our daughter studying in Florence for the summer. Effortlessly popping in and out of the apartment the whole time.

Great location and views. Had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very large space that had what we needed. Our hostess met us on time and showed us around the apartment. Loved the furniture, built-ins, bookcase, large windows and feel. Close to many walkable sites. We loved the Oltrarno area and neighborhood. Would have liked to see an information book or list in the apartment that recommends nearby restaurants, grocery stores, etc. that we have seen at other vrbo rentals, but we were able to find things ourselves. Word of caution: Getting a taxi during high season is a crap shoot process and extremely difficult. If you need a taxi to the train station when you leave, be prepared to have everyone in your party use the move taxi app and separately try getting a cab. We had 3 people try and it took about an hour. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.

This was our first stay in Europe and it did not disappoint. Rachel's place was lovely convenient to walk to all tourist area. Surrounding area had amazing gelato! We would highly recommend staying here to all our friends and family.

Excellent stay and location

Really comfortable apartment with some character, and which stares at the Uffizi gallery and Ponte Vechio. Plenty large with two bathrooms and a full formal dining room and seating area. A grocery store and several restaurants with a minute's walk.

Quaint and Italian

We thoroughly loved this apartment. There was so much space. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed. The washing machine was so convenient. We loved the location overlooking the River. Rachel was a delight and made our check in so easy. We loved having 2 sets of keys for when we split up. We were completely intrigued by the cute yet incredibly quiet elevator. It was so nice to have 2 bathrooms. I was a little confused when we arrived bc from the listing I thought that the 2nd bedroom had 2 twins and a queen in it. For our family of 5 we had a queen in one bedroom, 2 twins in a second bedroom and then a twin roll away in the large entry area with a very comfortable memory mattress. It worked great for our grown children. There was also a ton of storage and closet space and each room has its own air conditioner. We loved sitting at the window watching the action below. The only crazy thing I can think of is that there are recycling bins across the street by the river and it was sometimes startling when someone would dump their glass bottles at 1 am or 6 am. We would absolutely tell all of our friends to stay here and would stay here again.

Wonderful

Seldom do we find a holiday rental that was actually better than expected. The apartment was very clean , everything worked and it had a good stock of essential things in the kitchen to get us started. Full of lovely old furniture and an amazing view of the Arno.

Best location

This was the first time I have done a Vrbo accommodation, and it did not disappoint! The location was perfect, and made our stay in Florence the best! It had an amazing view of the river, Point Vecchio and the Uffico across from it. We were able to walk to everything, It also had the convenience of a supermarket around the corner, and of course gelato and many dining choices. . Rachel was very accommodating and helpful to us as my first time in Italy trying to figure things out! Place was amazing and can’t imagine staying anywhere else!

Perfecto!!

Everything about our stay was perfect. Location, cleanliness, comfort and Rachel, you are an amazing host! Thankful for the lift! So many places don’t have one. Also, the parking garage and grocery store were just minutes away on the same street. Couldn’t have asked for more.!!!

Everything we hoped for

The apartment is everything we hoped it would be: very comfortable rooms with tall ceilings, nice light and a great view that constantly reminds you that you are in Florence.It is nicely appointed and felt lived in, not a new modern apartment which could be in any city. It was always a delight to come home after a long day enjoying all that Florence has to offer. The elevator was a nice bonus.Our experience with this apartment started with a very warm welcome from Rachel, who couldn’t have been nicer. She was always easy to communicate with and very helpful, including arranging a taxi for us to leave and many good recommendations.The apartment is well located: just a short block from the Ponte Vecchio, there is a convenient grocery store on that block and a wine bar with simple food that is more inviting than its initial appearance. I don’t know that we would have tried it if Rachel hadn’t recommended it.We have rented several apartments around Florence, but we look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you Rachel!
