2 day getaway in central Florence
Checking in with Keys of Italy in Florence was easy, and as the property was ready at 1230pm we were able to go straight there 2.5 hours early. We could have left bags at the office if not, and we actually did this on the check out day at 10am and stayed in Florence until 3pm. The property itself is in a corridor in a shared access building about 10mins walk from all the sights. It was exactly as described, and photographed. The bed is a little firm but was clean and comfortable enough. Bathroom was fine, with hairdryer and toiletries supplied. The kitchen crockery and pots could do with updating or a real good refresh, some are a bit tired or worn. But we really didnt use them much, just breakfast bowls, cups and glasses. We didnt need the spare bedding which is for the sofa-bed, but noticed it was stained and needed washing. We pointed this out to the cleaner and the office staff when we left, so hopefully anyone that did need it would find it acceptable. No problems overall, and for the fairly close location to all the main sights it represents good value.
