Was expecting better
The apartment is spacious and nice. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. The location is fabulous. The problem?? It wasn’t very clean. It looked clean as you walked in but the baseboards were caked with dirt. There was mold in the shower, that whole bathroom smelled because of the mold. The window in the shower had a curtain that was caked in mildew. The kitchen counters had crumbs on them. The light switches and doors had dirt on them (clean now as I went around and wiped them down). We went to climb into bed and there was something hard and crusty stuck to the sheets and the sheets had a hole in them. Also there were dirty sheets left in the closet. The comforter had a stain on it. I was not happy at all. I am picky when it comes to cleanliness so that is why I gave three stars because I know that my expectations are high. The main problem with this property is the lack of communication with the host. We reached out with questions and he wouldn’t respond unless we got a VRBO agent involved. He wouldn’t tell us check in procedures until we went through VRBO agents. We called and left voice messages as well as texts. No responses. It was a huge pain. I would not recommend staying here unless you like no communication with the host and you don’t mind dirt and mold.
