Our stay was amazing! Julia and Omar were extremely responsive. During our stay, there was a mechanical issue with an appliance and they were extremely accommodating and got someone over to repair the issue the same day. The location of this house is amazing: the proximity to Bert’s, beach access, and restaurants made our trip so easy. We have never stayed at the same rental property twice, but are already talking about when we can return to their place!

Easy access to "Downtown Folly", one block beach access, next to greatest island store (Berts) and island tacos (Chico). We travel to Folly every year for the Surfers Healing event and this place is our favorite place to date.

It's our second time staying here! Owners are very responsive, property has everything you need to be comfortable, and location is ideal on Folly Beach. It's perfect for our family of 4.

Folly Beach New year

The house at 206 E Ashley is small but perfect for the two of us. Two blocks from the ocean, short walk of two blocks to Center Street, and near Bert's grocery. Excellent location and accommodations.

Location is everything

The best part about this property is the location. It can not be beat. You also have plenty of parking which is a huge plus on Folly. We never had any issues with noise and overall enjoyed our stay. The only thing I will say is that you can tell the property is due for a good deep cleaning, and an overall face lift. At quick glance every thing looks good but the more you start to look around you can tell the house has had a lot of wear and tear. The patio furniture had some rust. Some fresh paint (inside and out) would do the place wonders and the outside needs some attention like power washing, landscaping, etc. However, you can not beat the location, the price was reasonable, the owners were responsive, and it is great that it is pet friendly. Given location, and especially the price, I would stay here again. Folly is getting so expensive it is hard to find an affordable place.

Cute House & Perfect Location

This little cottage was so cute and had just about everything we could need (never found silverware but maybe we didn’t look in the right place). You can NOT beat the location. 2 minute walk to the beach or restaurants and right next door to the quirky little Bert’s market. Loved that we had all of our towels (including beach) and nice appliances (great washer and dryer). Would recommend this to friends and family! :)

Great Location

Very good use of space. Had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Loved the location. Can be loud. Didn't bother us but if a light sleeper could be an issue. We would stay here again.

Cozy and good.

Fantastic location! That is my number one most favorite thing about this property. My husband and I stayed with our 3 teenage children. The boys slept on the hideabed in the living room and our daughter in the second bedroom. We didn't realize that the bed in the second bedroom was a trundle bed. We would have flip flopped the room assignments if we had. The boys didn't care and it all worked out. We loved that there were just the right number of amenities and extras to make for a great stay. The teens loved the beach toys, Mom loved the beach towels and washer/dryer and Dad loved the AC. It's small but worked out perfect. We would recommend.

Great Location

We enjoyed this property very much. The place is small but very well appointed, well decorated and just has a very cool vibe. Can get noisy at times from trash trucks etc at Bert's market, but never really caused us any issues. Easy walk to a great part of the beach.

Close to the beach and all the Folly Beach fun

The property is located very close to the beach, next door to a 24 hour market, and within walking distance from all that Folly has to offer. The hosts were incredibly helpful and very responsive when answering questions. We loved the decor, and we really appreciated the washer and dryer. Our family of 4 looks forward to staying here again!

Perfect place for girls getaway

The property is as advertised. Location is great and amenities were as promised. The blow dryer was missing when we went to fix our hair but they brought us blow dryer in less than 10 minutes. Very quick to respond. The only thing I would recommend is a good deep clean. The floors were dirty (had not been mopped) and so were the base boards and some food on a wall in the living room area. The pull out sofa had crumbs all over in the bed so we vacuumed that up and put the bed back in and one of us just slept on the actual couch and not the sofa bed. All in all it was a great stay and we enjoyed our time there. There were complimentary snacks ands a bottle of wine when we arrived. Having Bert's right next door was great too. Everything was a very short walking distance making this a great location.

Cute cottage close to shops and beach

Perfect little beach cottage close to beach and restaurants! The cottage is quirky and cute, in the best way possible. The layout inside is comfortable and makes you feel right at home. We loved the dĂ©cor and the thoughtful amenities including the Turkish towels for the beach. Having the front screened porch was nice and we spent a couple of nights out there relaxing. The cottage is a short walk to both the beach and town and right next door to Bert’s Market (as definite plus to have groceries and made-to-order subs right next door!). Be mindful of the fact that it can be noisy, since it is so close to town and Bert’s. There were constantly people walking by and cars driving to and from town.

Cute cottage within walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants!

On the plus side the location to the beach, shops and restaurants was excellent. The cottage was well equipped and decor very cute. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable and the porch bedroom provided a cozy place to read or watch tv. Unfortunately, the bathroom pedestal sink top was not attached to the wall and the sink drain was dirty with no strainer. Both the shower and sink had numerous sewer flies which flew out once the water was turned on. The toilet was very low good for children but not adults. A cocktail table would be a nice addition in front of the sofa. All the floors were wood not LVP so they were dirty. No garbage bags were provided and the wash machine was unable to lock so we couldn’t use it.
