this property has not been maintained properly and was very dirty when we arrived. we did not stay there actually. when we contacted Vacasa about it they apologized and sent cleaners out who then argued with us about their inability to clean it properly. We were also toldthe dishwasher didn’t work properly. The couches and rugs have not ever been properly cleaned, there was hair in the beds and the lawn has not been mowed all year which concealed piles of dog poop. We received no response from the property manager other than the Vacasa representative and have requested a refund as a result.

A home away from home

This is a very nice home which has everything one might need, and the beds are insanely comfy, we slept like logs. It is away enough to be very quiet and close enough to everything to be still convenient. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful house with off the beaten path location but easy to find. Well maintained property and very clean. Check-in was super easy. Comfortable stay. Fully stocked kitchen which we didn’t really use. It would have been nice to have some tea/coffee in the house

Nice house, lacking a few things

Overall the property inside is attractive , clean and modern. Upon further inspection, we realized that there were NO closets, wardrobes, dressers to allow us to place our clothes. Lived out of suitcase for 3 days. Was not what I was expectiing. The Cable was intermittent, and constantly buffering., The WiFi however,was good a We we able to watch some entertainment on my lap top with limited intrerruption. The several room heaters were a bit challenging, and only on the last day did they start to work., It was quite chilly up there, so good thing we brought sweats. The exterior yards presented as some what uncared for., Broken drieway light and fencing, and generally kind of sad compared to the house itself. Overall, not too bad for a first time with Verbo. WE are booked into Las Vegas in November, so I will have a deeper dive into the condition of that property to see if we will keep it. Thanks- J Jurancich

Nice Stay - dog friendly

The house inside was nice and clean. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. They had lots of movies and games. The yard was not super amazing and I wouldn’t call it an orchard. More of a house with 3 apple trees in a neighborhood. But Steelhead beach was only 5 minutes away and Bodega Bay was only 40 minutes so it was a great location for what we wanted to see. Check in and out was easy.

Beautiful forest escape

This dog friendly rental was extremely comfortable and convenient due to good floor plan and furniture. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. I think it would be very difficult to find a better place in this price range. The apple trees are in bloom and the birds sing all day even if it rains. Be sure to follow the entrance directions or you’ll end up on a one-way road on the side of the mountain in the forest. We are seniors and had trouble figuring out how Vacasa works when booked through VRBO. You must check-out, you are billed by Vacasa. We didn’t know if we were supposed to put out the garbage (no) or take off the sheets (yes) until we received a text, I couldn’t find it on their website.

Great Spot

The house was wonderful, bigger than it looked on the pictures, really loved the neighborhood, super close to Santa Rosa but it felt far away. Biggest surprise was how amazing the mattresses are on the bunk beds.

Very nice stay

We booked this stay after Christmas with the hopes of enjoying some wineries and hikes, but we were totally rained in! This house was very comfortable if you had to be stuck though :) The only thing we were surprised about was the tiny one lane roads that lead up to the house - but luckily we didn't run into any other cars and made it safely. All in all, it was a great (very rainy!) stay.

In woodland, secluded and peaceful

Not far from main road but quiet and woodsy feel. Apple tree was full of deep red fruit so I made apple sauce and baked apples so it didn’t go to waste. Still plenty on the tree. Loud chirping of crickets was sensational at night. Private second floor deck nice for dining, reading relaxing. Nice home, good layout. We played autumn fireplaces on youtube for ambiance, almost as good as the real thing (their fireplace not for guest use even though it features prominently in the photos..bit of a bait and switch). Definitely two bedroom if you’re wondering (barn door style for second room). Bathroom open onto deck if you like to be one with nature when nature calls!

We are going back.

When we got off the highway on a dirt road which leads to the house we were wondering what have we done. That we are very surprised. I have an updated clean, comfortable house. The house is out in the country and you can hear the birds saying all day long. It’s not far from Forestville or from Guerneville, so location is excellent.

Rustic Rural Retreat

This updated rural cottage is moments from hiking and canoeing entrances to the Russian River. It is a quiet and “dark sky” place to, as the sign says “ relax and unwind”. Spotty GPS and dirt roads to the place attest to its quiet ambience. The beds are extremely comfortable, the appliances and Kitchen cookware are great for a weekend or a week or more of cooking. We brought our own coffee which worked out on the first morning as foodstuffs such as coffee and other condiments needed for the initial morning that we have found in other rentals were not available but then a 12 cup coffee pot rather than a Keurig was much appreciated. Cabin itself was comfortable. The bathroom was roomy with warm water. A closet and/or place to hang clothes would be an important addition 
 a few shelving units available but filled with bedding and no hooks or clothes rods available in the sleeping quarters. A book which contained the instructions for checking in and out, when garbage pickup was, internet instructions and nearby takeout and delivery options would be helpful although an app with nearby attractions was sent at check out and I suspect will be available on checkin in the future. Check in and checkout process simple and response to issues in the place were rapid and satisfying. Definitely a place to chill out and because of its distance from town the ability to grill out useful. The apples falling onto the deck several times a day took some getting used to 
 lol.

Nice location in the Russian River Valley

We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and comfortable. A couple of suggestions: you could use a new non stick skillet for preparing eggs. The bath towels:we were provided only 4 which was inadequate and the towels themselves need replacing. I was surprised that our cell phones (ATT) had no service at this location and that there was not cable TV. The bunk beds make a ton of noise which made it impossible to rest well (my 17yr old slept on the living couch instead-not ideal). I suggest swapping those out for something that is quiet. Thanks for a nice stay!

Comfortable, Peaceful and Immaculate

This house exceeded our expectations. It is newly and tastefully remodeled and furnished. We enjoyed the sunny back patio and quiet, verdant surroundings. Though it is listed as a 1 bedroom it has two extra sleeping areas, ample for our family of 3 and dog. Close to Guerneville, Russian River and Armstrong Redwoods State Forest.

Clean , quiet, newly renovated home

Our family stayed for a week and found this home to be clean, and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings new. The private decks and yard seem like they would be amazing in the warmer months! The location is great for accessing the coast, the river and other areas of Sonoma County. Note that the house is located on a dirt road, which is a little challenging to find if you arrive after dark as we did. The heating was inconsistent throughout the house but we figured out how to work with the system so we were comfortable. And there are plenty of cozy blankets. The bathroom towels and pans could be replaced as both are showing signs of wear. The appliances, dishes and glasses were in almost new condition. The home has a washer and dryer so we could do laundry instead of bringing it all home. A great stay overall!

Nice home

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and looked newly remodeled. There was plenty of stuff in the kitchen to be able to cook. My only complaint is that the house was very cold. Under the trees the house doesn't get much direct sunlight so it stayed cold inside despite it being warm outside. We couldn't see any way to heat the house and guests aren't allowed to use the wood stove which was disappointing. I wouldn't want to stay here in the winter.

Nice to be in Russian River area

The house was really cute and clean. The description calls this property 1 bedroom. We could tell from the photos that there was a bonus room with 2 sets of bunk beds. This was a super cute little space for kids. We were surprised to find a second bedroom! Both rooms got a lot of light and fresh air. The shared living space (open kitchen and living room areas) was comfortable and got plenty of natural light. I grew up spending my summers in Rio Nido, and it was lovely to be back in the area. A short drive to the river and all of the fun that the water provides!
