Wonderful house with great outdoor space. My favorite part was the outdoor fire pit in the sectional. The bed was comfortable.. The house well stocked.
A nice home with several bedrooms that are nicely furnished, especially for the kiddos. Note there is no master bathroom and the kitchen is rather small- we felt a bit limited in what we could cook due to equipment and space available. The house itself sits on a nice property with a large deck. However, the neighborhood felt a bit sketchy- there was an abandoned trailer next door and the neighborâs fence was broken down and torn up in places. Fort Bragg itself is okay and located close to lots of hikes, kayaking, beaches, and the skunk train, but itâs a rather run-down town and didnât feel very touristy. We had some issues with bears getting into our trash and the response by the property management team was immediate and swift. Very nice folks. Weâd definitely rent from them again.
Pros:Location of the propertyProperty itself is greatCons:Some key missing items like Coffee, laundry washing detergent and conditioner (yes they have given one conditioning shampoo but it does not work)If coffee is missing and they don't tell you about it, the next day morning, it becomes super inconvenient and overall messy to first go to the store to purchase coffee. Even motel-6 gives you coffee. Similarly, the property was missing laundry detergent, and we needed to do one single load of wash and we needed to purchase a whole can of detergent just for this.
We recently stayed at this property and had a great time overall. The location is fantasticâclose to everything we needed, with beautiful surroundings that made our trip even more enjoyable. The property itself was comfortable and had plenty of space. However, we did run into some issues with the heating and electrical output. The heating system struggled to keep the space warm, which was a challenge during colder nights. Additionally, we noticed some inconsistencies with the electrical system, which required some troubleshooting. That said, the property manager was incredibly responsive and communicative. They did their best to address our concerns quickly and were always available to answer questions, which we really appreciated. With a few improvements to the heating and electrical setup, this rental would be perfect. Despite those issues, we still had a good stay and would recommend it for those looking for a well-located spot with great management.
Perfect spot for a quiet weekend getaway! Very clean and had almost everything we could need for our visit. Loved the occasional visits from the deers :)
The cabin is off the main road and tucked away in the redwoods, but it is a short drive to the Fort Bragg downtown and nearby State Parks. This was a great cabin and location for our family getaway, and we would definitely stay here again! The neighborhood was more rural and wild, and we saw 5 or 6 deer waking through the property most days. The layout of the original home was very cool, and the newer additions with bedrooms were nice and comfortable for our family members. Cellular service wasn't great (ATT), but the wifi was fast. Overall we loved it, and this cabin served as a great base camp for our adventures on the North Coast. Cheers!
This is a beautiful house in a wonderful setting that I would certainly return to. Our only complaint was that the bed/futon in the office room is terribly uncomfortable so the fifth person in our group wasn't able to get a good nights sleep.
