Cannot be called a hotel poorly maintained
We had such expectations of this property as reviews were positive & we liked the idea of a smaller boutique style hotel in a quieter resort & near the coast. We picked the hotel as it had a pool & quiet pool area. We were on a cruise prior to our stay & did not have internet. When we docked, we had a message (only a couple of days old) to say the pool was out of action & awaiting maintenance. We had the option to cancel but it was too late to re-book anywhere else as it was spring break. We were only offered a $25 gift card for the inconvenience. I had a broken arm so we were relying on the pool area to relax as the beach was going to prove difficult. On arrival, there was no reception staff. The first room we were allocated had a moldy bathroom and window locks were broken. We struggled to make contact with the management as the only option was a US number which we could not use as we did not have international call facility. There is no reception, just a cleaning cupboard where the male was sat outside! We had to unpack as we could not make contact with anyone. We were eventually moved & there were issues with this room, broken locks, poorly maintained bathroom, gaps in front door etc. There is no housekeeping. It cannot be called a hotel as it offers no services. It is for sale so obvious no money being spent on it. Poorly maintained grounds. Further in depth review on Trip Advisor.
