The location is phenomenal to the beach and to multiple quality restaurants. I recommend signing out a bike for the day and riding it around town. The pool is nice. I recommend if you have more than two people to get there before 10 AM so you could get some lounge chairs and an umbrella. The room was clean. Bathroom and shower also clean. Room is nothing fancy but if you’re staying in this close to the beach, I wouldn’t suspect you would be in your room very much anyways.

Ok so here are the pros and the cons: PROS: * amazing location * clean rooms ( but are in dire need of an upgrade) CONS: * bungalow rooms have almost zero space for belongings. No closet, no drawers for clothing. No space for toiletries. Do not expect to cook in kitchen very tiny electric burners, no oven. * we booked for 3 guests in the room and only were allowed 2 beach chairs, additional chair was 20.00 a day * there were many guests without wrist bands on the beach using beach chairs as well as in the adult only pool. Noone ever checked. This is a lack in security and safety. And they don't pay for use of beach chairs! They just walk over from other areas on the beach. * guests were smoking by the pool non stop, and Noone asked them to not smoke even though it is a smoke free area. * Housekeeping comes very late in the day, usually after 4pm *if you book a resort view room which we initially did, it was very unclear that you are not on the beach. You have to walk across the street to get to the pool and beach. We were very unhappy with this and for additional fees were able to change our room.

Staff were very friendly and our room was very clean. It looked just like the photos. Nice and quiet. The staff were always checking if we needed anything! Location is terrific to the beach and walking distance to many restaurants and little shops. Grocery store, pharmacy right across the street

I have stayed here several times and loved it, this last weekend I flew down with my oldest daughter and her friend for a few days. We still loved the beach, and the room was comfortable, and on Saturday we had wonderful interactions with beach staff. The things that seemed off to me though with this trip were the other staff interactions… at check in we hardly got a hello which is fine but then we never were given our free drink tickets for vip hotel.com perks (which is a hotels.com issue probably) and no wristbands or towel cards were given. It really wasn’t a huge deal just frustrating to have to return to the desk a few times for towel cards etc. I then had a beach attendant try to charge me $20 for an extra chair multiple times even though I was the only one on the beach and my two other teens were at the pool, we weren’t all 3 down there together, and we didn’t take more than 2 chairs all day and it wasn’t even that busy due to weather. It just left a bad taste in my mouth. Then finally when we checked out, I know it was early, but there was not one “thank you” for staying or any question about how our stay had been from the front desk lady. It just seemed like a totally different vibe than from the last few times that we have stayed here. I understand how hard it is working customer service and give people grace when they need it but this time it just felt like we had so many interactions that weren’t on brand with Plunge beach resort.

Great location and family friendly - across from beach. Beach bar has awesome location with view of ocean. Food and drinks - fine.. I felt the servers were somewhat unfriendly and our service there on different occasions was average to poor. Hotel walkable to restaurants and Publix- convenient. I feel LBS beach should have lifeguards- seems risky to me.. no flags to warn either.

We stayed in Bungalow and our room was very small and very outdated. Our bathroom fan didn't work, the Exit sign illuminated into our window like a red light, no safe for our valuables thus never getting our room cleaned. Wish we knew more about the lodging itself before updating booking. We did end up at the hotel and our room was better but still very outdated.
