Hope there’s no fire

First impressions were amazing, room was nice and had fantastic view of the river. However the room wasn’t that clean, lots of dust on most surfaces, and multiple hairs in the bathroom. The shower was barely warm at best for all three mornings and evenings, almost cold at times. The worst experience was when the fire alarm went off one morning, it started, then stopped, then it went off again, this happened on a few occasions, we asked house keepers if it was a test, they just replied “it’s usually a false alarm”, a muffled voice came across the speaker system, we think it stated the fire service had been called, so with this we decided to air on the safe side and went down the exit staircase, however it only went down two flights onto a terrace, and then we were faced with locked doors, 3 of them from memory, this was a complete shambles, thankfully it turned out to be a false alarm. The property was nice, the staff were friendly, (special mention to William in the bar), and the location was great, it just let itself down. Had it not been for the fire escape element, I would have stayed there again, but this was too much of a serious fail.

The location and the hotel is great. The problem was there were these tiny bugs all over the surface where the coffee maker was. I also had a few on my I pad I told the front desk, and all they did was extend my check out time. I was quite disappointed that there was no reduction to the cost of the room.

Place was clean, I was only there for a night so I can’t say much about it, my only complaint was the door kept getting stuck, which made it a little hard to get in and out of my room. Got a little loud as well in the hallway in the morning so that wasn’t fun, got woken up at 6 am.
