The home is spacious with a nice layout, but overall we felt it was overpriced & that the property could benefit from more attention to maintenance & preparation before guests arrive.When we arrived, several items required attention. The host Camille was very kind/responsive & even came by the next day to address some of the problems, which we appreciated. That said, proactively handling these items before our arrival would have made for a much smoother experience.For example, one of the beds was extremely squeaky & essentially unusable until it was fixed. The cleaning crew hadnât left any dish towels & only a minimal amount of paper towels. One toilet was not flushing properly. One of the bedroom doors does not close properly & is very loud. We were also surprised to find that the primary bedroom closet is locked as an ownerâs closet, leaving guests no place to hang clothes in that room.The biggest disappointment, however, was the pool. One of the main reasons we chose this property & paid a premium was the pool, but it was full of leaves & unusable on our first full day. Camille let us know the pool company would come in the AM, but they didnât arrive until 3:30â4:00 PM. Unfortunately, that ended up being our only free day, so we never had a chance to use the pool. The Keurig machine was also not working, which meant leaving the house for morning coffee.Camille was very friendly & responsive, but for the price paid & the listing photos, I expected a better experience.
