Our stay was delightful, beach was beautiful the house was everything you said it would be. My grandchildren collected shells everyday, we will definitely stay there again. Thank you
Beautiful home and tons of space but could use a little TLC. The views are amazing! We had a couple issues and property management did their best to handle and were very responsive. They were kind enough to give us a gift card and apple pie for the inconvenience caused by the issue we had. A lot of the beach was closed off due to the safety of baby birds hatching, but we still had enough space to enjoy the beach at the water. Great area for bird lovers. The beach is huge - about a 4 minute walk to get to water's edge, but very private. We enjoyed our stay.
We had an amazing time. The property was in a beautiful location. Very quiet and a pristine beach. Quick drive to shops and restaurants. The house was nicely furnished and there was a lot of space. The only reason I didn't give the house 5 stars is because of the air conditioning. During the day it had to be set on 74 and 75 at night. This is s ridiculous rule for paying guests. When it's in the 90's the house gets very hot. Hence the box fans in every room. We kept all the ceiling fans on high and it was so hot at night. Even with the noisy box fans running. The only room that stayed cool was the top floor. I would definitely recommend this property but only if the air conditioning was upgraded.
Very accommodating property and great communication fromHost. The back porch view is amazing! It will be nice when that area is grown back up from the hurricane and thereâs a little more to do in that area! Property is great though, and I have rented it twice!
Loved the location but a lot of construction was going on to one side of us and on the new bridge but that was expected after the hurricane. Cons: When we got there, a smoke detector was chirping. The ice maker in the main refrigerator was disgusting (I opened it up when it got jammed),so we used the ice from ice trays in the second refrigerator, the second refrigerator wouldnât get very cold, the inner side back doorknob on the ground floor came off when simply trying to close the door from the inside.Pros: the beds and couch were comfy, pillows were great, location is away from the hustle & bustle of the north end of the island, traffic wasnât bad on the south end of the island, it was a bit of a walk out to the water but the shelling was good. Being at the end of the island it felt like we were on a private beach with only a handful of people other than my family.
A very beautiful house that is very well equipped. Everything was very clean. Above all, the location is unique. The view was fascinating every day. If we had any problems, the team helped us quickly.
Nice out of the crowded areas on south end of Estero Blv. Had a nice time even though the water quality was poor. It is peaceful when the bridge construction is done. Great views from the house updated inside. About 300 yards from the water but the whole beach is yours.
Well what can i say the house was great except it needs a little more 2024 in it. Like USB chargers and a few outlets of easy access in and out of house. This house is perfect for bird lovers as the Bird Sanctuary is great but not for me as i had to battle the birds and their friends everytime i wanted to walk. The walk to the beach was not bad at all but what was frustrating was the massive amounts of seaweed that this time of the year we got to the point i could not enjoy my beach access behind the house and the city never once stopped by to clean up the mess. i guess since no one is staying out there renting that not enough complaints come in so they do not care. But overall the house was great for the family and the beds were SUPER comfotable except for the loft bunk beds those things were rough.
The house was lovely. I am sure this is a great place to stay when the weather cooperates. We had severe wind and flooding rain during our entire stay. We would liked to have known that we would have to travel 30+ minutes for any indoor activities. We were provided a list of many outdoor activities by the company however, a list of indoor ideas would have been extremely helpful.
Really nice house, with excellent views. Great responsiveness, from owner. The full size mattress on the top floor might be uncomfortable for some people.
This place was fantastic for our family and has been labeled the 'best place we've ever stayed!' by all. The house and its amenities are all encompassing. They provided so many things for our enjoyment, we didn't even use them all! Communication with the rental property managers was perfect. Access to the beach was good, a little walk (which we need), but never crowded. Like having your own private beach. Thank you so much!
We saw dolphins twice each day, collected more shells than we could fit in our suitcases, sunrises/sunsets, and the home had ample room and amenities. Loved the large beach towels, wagon, chairs, A/C, washer/dryer, and tubes to float on. The view was great, comfy couch, and clean.
A couple things to note: there is construction going on all around that end of the island. 90% of the time, it wasnât an issue but a couple of days it was pretty loud for part of the day. The beds/pillows were lacking in comfort a bit, but I am picky that way. It was quite a trek down to the waterâs edge-a good 5 minute walk, which I thought was great-I love walking in the sand, but it would be hard with young children or elderly.
The house was amazing, the view was gorgeous and the weather was perfect. Though it was sad to see Fort Myers with so much construction, it was nice to be there without the enormous crowds. No complaints about the house, but beach toys for the kiddos wouldâve been nice and maybe a wagon to haul it all in. The walk to the water is significant. But we loved it, this maybe the house return to year after year â€ïž
Upon arriving at the home, we were a little taken back by the basement portion of the home not being there per the pictures and a few things weren't as tidy as we thought they should be for a luxury stay. We spoke to the owner and things were fixed and explained right away. Apologies were given and the customer service ethic was great! The owner was very communicative and available for any questions we had. Outside of the little set back my family of 7 plus guests of 2 loved our stay. The view, the area ( despite hurricane Ian's slight devastation and rebuild of the area) was still super relaxing and peaceful. Our kids loved the private beach stay. We saw dolphins right at the edge, were able to see the sea turtle tracks and nests but not them physically... We saw pelicans and skimmers everyday then on our last day we had a flock of pink flamingoes land right in back of the house and we're Able to get great shots to take back home with us. Some area entertainment is still open and we were able to take some boat rides and mini gulf as well as visit some restaurants. The balcony of the home even though close to the beach and the marsh area next to it was still peaceful enough and breezy even on those hot days and I was pleasantly surprised by not being bothered by any bugs at all... I would rate my stay even with the slight issue a 10/10 . This will definitely be a place our family can visit annually.
We absolutely loved this house and this location! Perfect quiet, stress-free get away! Loved the nature and wildlife in the nearby nature preserve as well!
Big and spacious for
multiple family members. Beautiful views from comfortable large deck. It is about 400 yards from the water so you need to take that into account. We had a wonderful stay. However, this was one of the only places rented along the entire Estro Blvd due to the hurricane damage. We did have problems with biting sand fleas and the red tide caused allergic reactions from some family members. But I think this is just a left over of the hurricanissues
Ft. Meyers beach is still very much impacted by the recent hurricane. This home is still under the remodel process. This was not noted in the listing. Given the circumstances in the area, the living areas in the home have been very well addressed. There are some areas that needed attention, and I am sure will timely be addressed. The check in process was not provided to me until I arrived at the home, and took some time to obtain. The management company did communicate with me, and addressed concerns timely. The shelling along the beach was fabulous, though as noted by other guests, it is a bit of a walk to get there. Overall, highly recommend giving this place a try. It would be great for a larger group/family/girls or guys trip, etc. It was still very nice for a romantic getaway for two.
Beach is a little bit of a trek for older folks but Lovers Key is very close. Used the kitchen almost every night. Had everything we needed. Jessica was fast to respond to every request.
The house was pretty run down, the bedrooms were okay but the pictures were very misleading. The kitchen was not very clean they were missing a cabinet door the drawers were dirty inside we pulled out pots and pans to use and they were dirty. The outside deck needed done work the grill they had to use was a piece of junk and the cushions on the furniture that was on the deck weâre definitely dirty snd look like they had been there for about 8 to 10 years. Also we could not sit outside in the evening and enjoy the view or the sounds of the waves without being eaten alive by no seum bugs. Also we had 7 people and the couch they had wound not sit all of us.. The lower level that had the pool table was musty. It was not a great experience and I would not recommend this place. The only thing that was great was my contact with Jessica she was great and very on top of things. I called her because one of the shower glass doors were about to fall off and she had some one out the next morning to fix it.
