it was unusual in that front desk was manned by a screen with a person showing up.. I believed it was AI until my checkout. Also different is that I paid expedia for the room, but the motel asked for deposit of 100 dollars. I was not expecting this. and got upset... I thought it was some kind of ripoff. I gave cash. and had to wait around the next morning until 7 Am for a person to show up and check the room...They showed up and I got my 100 back. I was very angry until then.. and then let it all go.. the room was good. and it was fine.

I booked a room, showed up, and there was NOBODY in the lobby. I had to be helped by someone on a FaceTime call, so that's immediately unprofessional. Also after a long awkward silence, I was told I couldn't check in when I arrived. They also wouldn't process a refund, so I had to call my bank to dispute the charge and pray for the best. I cannot afford to waste 80 dollars rn, it's the holiday season. Extremely disappointing.

Cleaning staff isn’t professional. I usually stay in this hotel weekly because I work in the city. Someone of the cleaning staff left me a note Suggesting tips I left $10 now it got worst they don't clean the floor and don’t pick the trash up. I guess because they were expecting more money. This week I dropped a glass cup accidentally and they made the bed and didn't pick up the broken glass for 2 days. Good job guys. Merry Christmas
