Quality Inn allowed us to transfer our reservation to their facility after a horrible experience and it was greatly appreciated during Spring Break. Expedia had reserved us to another hotel that they never reserved our stay after driving for 12 hours and already checking in and allowing us to pay in advance, so we had to transfer hotels. We did request a pool, beachside and breakfast when having to be relocated to the Quality Inn. The staff checking in upfront had a horrible attitude from the moment I checked in. The owner did come and assist and corrected the issue the initial lady kept huffing as if we had made it harder having to transfer to the Quality Inn. The elevator's light was not working so we utilized the steps. The pool had a trash can/lid floating in it and was not 1/3 way full. Pool must have not been open yet for the season. The beach was a small ill place set up behind building but cute and clean on the inlet with a small dock with boat and jet ski rentals. Room was not super clean, had very worn and tattered bedding, phones and tv didn't work which may have been an effect of storms earlier in the month. Someone had left an old baked potato in the microwave, but we were very thankful just to have a room and just cleaned it out. We did feel it was at a safe area; the breakfast was great and a great pizza place next door. We did meet a very kind lady who worked weekends, and she gave us great tips of places to visit and was super helpful
