My room had stained sheets and there was urine in the ice bucket. I simply asked for a new ice bucket and extra sheets. The young men running the show were polite and accomidating. However, one of the owners, "Shiva," an older (about 70) Indian (Bangladeshi) got upset I asked for a new ice bucket and sheets. She spoke to me as if I was a child and followed me to the room to confirm there were issues. When I showed her the stains that looked like blood, she paused and said it was paint and then snatched the blankets off the bed after I called her out for making excuses. Shiva then stomped out of the room yelling, "are you happy now?! Any more complaints?!" Before yelling in her foreign tongue.
We were sooo appalled, we checked out and went to a different hotel.
It was just ok. The room did not have a coffee maker, hair dryer, shampoo or any of the usual amenities. The pillows were lumpy and flat. I don't expect a lot in a low budget hotel, but I don't think I would stay here again.
Iâve previously stayed at this hotel when in town for NASCAR races at TMS and itâs a very clean, tidy hotel with extremely courteous staff.
There are plenty of nice restaurants in the vicinity and access is extremely easy from I-35w & 820.
As always, Iâll be staying there in the future when in North Texas for NASCAR racing! âïžâïžâïžâïžâïž
