Depressing room

I was admitted in a room designed for wheelchair access. I told the reception and he said he is not sure about that (which means he did not even believe me!!) and never did anything about it. The room was small and dark, very depressing. No shower as it is designed with people with disabilities and the view was a wall. I was a bit disappointed with the experience. The location of the hotel is amazing that is the best part about the experience.

Pleasant experience

This is not the first time I stay at a Moxy Hotel . All my experiences with it have been great but this was the best one so far. :) The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. A special shout out to João Pedro. What a kind, fun and helpful guy. If you are looking for a place to stay at a great location and relaxing atmosphere, do not look any further... Moxy Hotel Frankfurt City Center is the place for you.

Beds are terribly uncomfortable - expect your worst night sleep. Showers and bathrooms are cheaply designed. This is not like US-based Moxys at all; these are cheap budget hotels.

Very basic rooms, but a good value especially if you are a solo traveler. Great location! Very walkable to all shopping in downtown Frankfurt and the Hauptwache train station. The main downfall was two of their 3 elevators were out of service during my stay. This made for long waits for the one remaining elevator.

Friday and Saturday nights when we stayed was a mass gathering place outside for drunk teenagers. Shouting and screaming teens staggering about drinking and smoking. Lifts where an issue also during our stay. 1 of 3 lifts working. Rooms are odd. The exposed concrete maybe a trend that some people like. Bar area is nice and staff are very friendly. Bit like a Citizen M copy, but not as good.

Shame really, pretty cool, good location. Area immediately outside hotel is a bit of a hang out area for people. It wasn’t terrible but groups of teenagers and smoking. But biggest disappointment was when room maid just walked into our room - knowing we had just got back. No door knock. Not good.
