Good location for a short break

I arrived at the hotel at about 1am only to find that they had a private function on. It was like something out of a London club scene and the music was very loud. On arrival they had a room available on the 1st floor but warned me that it would be very noisy and therefore suggested I took a room on the 5th floor which was considerably smaller. Be warned, the hotel bar is a smoking bar and the bar itself is very overpriced. The staff were attentive but the house keeping staff seemed to show up at all times of day. During one day I had a member of housekeeping knock on my door 3 times after 3pm - not ideal. The hotel is dark and mysterious which gives it some character and is only a short walk to the main centre or the train station. Overall it was an average stay but based on price would not stay there again.

Decoration too dark and disco too loud

The decoration is too dark especially in the bath room where more artificial light is needed. You don't see anything while shaving. The disco is too loud and can be heard at least in the rooms of the second floor.

Extraordinary hotel, very good service. But veryvery dark. Too ambient lighting. Even hard to see the menu in the restaurant, room numbera in the hallway, lounge was really dark too. Overall great, but with minor fixes would’ve been superb.

Coole Location, jedoch finde ich Preis/Leistung nicht im Verhältnis. Es gibt vergleichbare Unterkünfte zu besseren Konditionen. Ansonsten Style, Ambiente hat was eigenes... Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut und die Lage passt auch. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
