Not what its cracked up to be…beware!

Even at the lowest setting the a/c was not cooling all night, could not sleep. Beds are tiny singles , barely any space to move and mattress felt like a board covered in cloth. Also no cover sheets ! Just a comforter on top of a bed spread , terrible pillows. Shower drain overflowed, safe malfunctioned requiring technician to manually open it. Tv only has basic German broadcast channels , no movies or premium channels . Elevator to pool/gym was broken , had to take stairs. Overall, property feels dated. Restaurant nice but overpriced, EUR 45 for a schnitzel!?

Overall this is a very nice hotel. Great room. However, it needs some remodel. Also the swimming pool is way too cold. Has green algae. Elevators were not working in some of the areas. Other than that we liked it.

This hotel is basically a hostel. The beds are very hard but fine, pillows are basically a sack of cotton balls, and the hallways smell and look like a college dorm room. Our first attempt at getting in our room after a long day of travel was halted by the smell of a porta-potty the second we opened the door. Didn't even care to look any further. The second room had a fine smell but (remember the hostel and dorm room comment?) the shower looked like something you'd find on a science fiction movie. Mold, rust, cracks, you name it. However. If you are just looking for a place by the airport to crash, still don't stay here. There are better options. Like brands that rhyme with "Shmilton". If you want to potentially catch something, like a respiratory disease or a foot fungus, this is your spot! The only positives: staff was nice and the hotel shuttle was below average.

Loved this hotel, very busy when we there due to flight cancellations. Staff remained wonderful despite the extra pressure. Restaurants great, rooms clean and well appointed. Free regular shuttle to the airport, can’t think of any areas of improvement.
