As others have said, this is an older camper and somewhat rustic. We chose not to drink the water so bought in gallons to drink. This is a no-frills stay. As someone suggested, we used mattresses from kidsā€™ bunks to make bed more comfortable. Katrina was kind enough to lend me a hair dryer at my request. Lodging aside, the views were spectacular, the woods private, and the stay peaceful. Having coffee by the fire pit and watching eagles was the best. We were challenged to maneuver the boat and vehicle up and down the narrow, steep road but my husband managed to drive down backwards each time. We enjoyed our stay and only left one day early because the weather was just too hot for fishing. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and relaxing vacation at this lakeside camper! The heat worked well for chilly nights, water/waste weā€™re taken care of daily, and firewood was well-stocked. We had a great time kayaking and paddle boarding, and felt cozy and cared for during our stay.

The location is great! Very private and peaceful! Some issues with the hot water and heat. They were addressed in a timely manner. Don't think the trailer sticker matched the age of the trailer. Maybe an upgrade needed. Needs a trash can that the lid can be bungeed down, so animals cannot get in. Fire pit, deck, and dock great! Nice kayak and paddle board! Reasonable price!

Very clean and well stocked. On a pretty lake with a nice little sandy area. Nice outside firepit area, treats inside.. definitely recommend for a small group..The camper is quite small so 6 people would have been a tight crowd inside (but there ARE 6 sleeping spots). My 4 kids were not able to make it which was ok because it was freezing out and the wind picked up so much we had to be inside. Made the best of it and watched movies and hit the town the next day. Again, recommended place!

It was so quiet and peaceful and the host were wonderful right when we got there they had marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers to make sā€™mores and anytime we need help with anything they were there would definitely rent from them again

LOVED our experience

We stayed here for 2 nights in May and had a fantastic time! The owners were accessible and came down to fill the water tank and clear the waste tank when we needed it. They warned us the water from the tap was discolored but safe to drink, and provided us with a gallon of distilled water. If you are particular about the water you drink, definitely bring drinking water. The stove and grill worked well, there was plenty of firewood, and the kayak only fit one person but was so fun to take out on the lake! They also had a Bluetooth radio that played in and around the camper, so fun to hook up to that and listen to music! We will definitely be back!

Quite nice

Itā€™s a cozy little camper, as stated. Beautiful view of the lake and a nice outdoor area. Itā€™s not necessarily private or quiet, as it basically shares a drive with the neighboring house and is close to a pretty busy road. But itā€™s a nice enough spot on a pretty lake. It was 46Ā° the Fall morning I woke up there, and there were no instructions on how to turn on any heating source. Iā€™ve stayed in many campers, and I wasnā€™t able to locate a furnace/elect. heat option in this one. Just know that going in or communicate on the need for heat with the owner.

Our stay at Turtle Shores

We had such a wonderful time during our stay! Beautiful view, comfortable bed, well stocked camper, plenty of firewood. We loved taking the kayak out and my dog loved running around the property. There are neighbors but you canā€™t see them so we had privacy and peace. Quick and easy drive to town to get supplies. Couldnā€™t ask for much more in a little lake vacation. Hope to be back soon!

Beautiful and Private

This was perfect for me, my husband and pup. We had dinner on the dock at sunset and enjoyed sitting by the fire. The place is a tad smaller than it looked in pictures but was still perfect for us!

Great Place

We loved it here! The camper is tiny but had everything we need. (Sidenotes: to shower, pull up on the wing nut! And the main bed was comfortable once we stacked the bunk bedā€™s mattresses on it.) Having our own access to the lake felt divine. And sitting around the firepit, day or night, was the best. We loved it here and hope to go back!

Perfect Cozy Place for A Long Weekend

We were in the area visiting my in-laws for the fourth. We brought our two small children who thought the bunkbeds were the coolest! Small camper but everything was clean and the view of the lake was amazing. So peaceful. We didnā€™t spend a ton of time there as we commuted daily to DL. The only downside that my husband and I both agreed on, was the mattress was very, very hard. Itā€™s nothing that would stop us from staying again, weā€™d probably just bring our own topper next time. Highly recommend! Beautiful property!

A Little Gem in Frazee

The property is beautiful! Camper is a bit smaller than it looks online but it is comfortable. The host is very attentive to details and makes you feel very welcome. Would recommend for a couple and maybe 2 small kiddos, nice and quiet.

What a great little place. Itā€™s just as described. Great fishing from the dock and beautiful view. Kids had so much fun. Dog friendly which is a rare find. Owner stopped by every morning to fill water and replenish firewood. Very sweet man! We will definitely be back!
