The house is charming with lots of natural light throughout the day, original (probably) wood floors, high ceilings, and a unique (and kind of cool) stone interior hallway. Plenty of space in the kitchen, at the large dining table, and in the well appointed living room. The bedrooms are all nice, and the bathrooms are sleek and decently sized. The location is great because it's 1 street back from Main St. and at the northwest end, so you get a nice mix of quiet and convenience.
Of the 4 bedrooms, only the front bedroom has an en suite bathroom, and the front bedroom is also the room with the highest amount of street noise compared to the other bedrooms. So when a Texan who felt the need to get a truck that sits 12 feet off the ground and sounds like a combination of a jet engine and a combine rolls by, that's the bedroom where you'll definitely hear it. However, it wasn't really an issue because of the large floor fan provided in the room. But light sleepers may want to avoid that room.
Also pro tip, the house is 1 block from Caliche, which has easily the best caffeinated beverages in town, the best music, tasty breakfast dishes that come out QUICK, and a very friendly staff.
We're picky and we would definitely book this house again. Cheers.
