It was clean but rug and cushions on chairs needed replaced. Oven could be cleaned. Loved the pool was close and beach was just a very short walk. I would stay in this villa again. I loved the location

Fripp villa

We love staying at Capt John villas. You cannot beat the location. This property is right outside the private pool. Our kids could swim while we cooked on the charcoal grill. Easy walk to beach and the club

Excellent Accommodations

Unit was clean, comfortable and great location!!A hidden gem. The pool was right there and a beautiful beach was just steps from the unit. We did not do the resort passes so we had to drive to restaurants which was ok because there are a lot of great restaurants in the Beaufort area within 30 minutes- lots to do. Loved Hunting Island State Park which was just outside the community. Great fishing dock and Boneyard was a highlight of the trip. This unit was in a great location. Would stay here again. Lots to do, great accommodations and serene surroundings.

Nice House and Visit to Fripp

House was nice, as described. The beds in the second bedroom could use a little bit of maintenance as they squeak pretty bad. I’d also suggest a curtain for that bedroom to help block out pool lights that shine from the club pool that’s right next door. I’d also recommend updating the guest book with check out instructions as they are not consistent with the text of check out instructions. House only had two beach towels. Recommend adding a few more for families. The WiFi was out and while the property management company did their best it never resulted in consistent service. No WiFi meant no TV. Happy to see a variety of board games available. The bike situation was confusing. The guest book indicated bikes were in the garbage can area. While we didn’t see any bikes there, we did see some hanging on the wall outside the next condo. We used those bikes since we were unsure. Property management may want to double check the guest information book to avoid confusion. I do wish this property came with the amenity cards and golf cart rental. Overall, not a bad visit at all. Our family made memories and that’s the most important thing.

Perfectly located.

This property was perfect for our family's beach vacation. We couldn't have asked for a better location! It is a quick and easy walk to the beach, the kids loved the pool, and the back patio gets great shade in the afternoon. The interior is clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for the week.

Townhouse is in a great location and close to beach and pools. The bathrooms seem recently updated. It was nice to have 3 full bathrooms. The kitchen cabinets could use a deep cleaning and better utensils.

Friendly Frippers

Loves the condo! I have been coming to Fripp for 36 years and I have seen many changes over time. The three bathrooms are definitely a plus! The price for amenity cards is a little ridiculous! The deer are a nice bonus but the grass has “sand spurs” now which has never been an issue. The lawn care needs to up their game! Condo is in the perfect location and we can’t wait to return next year!

Fantastic Location!

This was our first trip to Fripp Island and we had a wonderful stay. The location of the condo was fantastic and it was super clean. A short walk across the grassy courtyard and you are on the boardwalk. We also loved sitting out on the patio in the evening before heading out to dinner. We would definitely stay here again!

Incredible host! Very quick to reply. Location is always prime. John Fripp villas is the best place to stay in my 24 years of going to Fripp. Private pool, private beach access, adult pool and bar, food court, etc. even though those Fripp houses are gorgeous, you can’t beat John Fripp villas!

Great stay, great lication

The property was the nicest we’ve stayed in at JFVs. We very much appreciated the hardwood floors throughout. And this was the first trip in which we did not see any palmetto bugs in or around the units. I’m not sure if the bugs are worse some years and better for others, but I did not see any in this unit. Huge bonus! We’ve just sort of come to expect them (even at upscale hotels) when we visit the South, so it was wonderful not having to encounter them! The third bathroom was so convenient for our family of four. It’s really nice to have the extra shower when you’re all trying to clean up from the beach or pool! We were steps from the pool, steps from the beach, the property manager was accessible, we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Relaxing and best vacation in a long time

We loved the condo! A great location, the space was perfect, accessibility to everything, beach was perfect and all around great trip for us. We only had a few issues with wifi router going in and out. Barry helped us though

Beautiful property

We stay in Fripp 5-6 times a year (for the last 15 years). We have stayed at 4-5 CJF Villas. This was by far the nicest CJF we have ever stayed in and in top two of all the Fripp properties we have rented.
