Poor Vacasa Customer Service: Great location and the condo was clean when we arrived. The poor rating is due to the significant disruption of our stay because of a lack of help from Vacasa. The listing promised high-speed WiFi, which we were depending on for work/zoom calls all week. Repeated calls over several days to Vacasa resulted in NO response back. I called Vacasa every day at the beginning of our stay and talked to someone different each day and received different answers ranging from a “A tech will call you today to arrange a visit” to “We can’t do anything until we reach the owner” to “I will upgrade this call to urgent.” My husband and I could not attend work meetings remotely as planned, and our son had to go back home to Denver to work during the week instead of staying with us. On Day 5 of our 8-day stay, Vacasa -without our asking - sent an email saying they will refund us 115, a tiny amount compared to the rental charge (less than 3%) and the significant impact to our work productivity and the time spent with our son. After a few more email exchanges, they credited us twenty dollars more. We understand technology breaks now and then, but it’s appalling that we did not receive a single return phone call explaining what was happening and why. There appeared to be no effort to fix the situation. Communication would have made a difference in our rating.
