Spring break

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay in Frisco at this oceanfront property! Views were picturesque and the short walk to the beach was perfect for our little boys! Highly recommended this property for your next stay in Hatteras! We will be back!

Happiness by the ocean

Great location, 2 min walk to ocean. Elevator was a perfect. Just right for 2 couples or family of 6. Locals were most friendly plus the beach was never crowded. Shout out to Harbor House Seafood and Sonnys Resturant. Great shopping at the Farmers Daughter. Guest Services responded quickly to a few minor issues.

Great little place to stay right on the beach!

On arrival the place was cute. Mostly clean and well stocked with essential items to cook and live in the home for a few days easily. There were ants .... not a ton but they were there so you had to be very careful leaving anything on the counters. The hot tub was completely non functional when we arrived although filled with water and chemicals. Luckily our friend is a master electrician and was able to get the power back on and the hot tub hooked up and running. (Someone had pulled the disconnect to shut it off instead of just flipping the breaker). The bed in the master bedroom was broken so we ended up sleeping backwards in that one... the downstairs bedrooms were fine. The elevator made it really nice for loading and unloading but your pretty much on your own figuring it out if the person before you left it incorrectly so, good luck with that! We called for assistance and were told someone would call us from the local office within 15 minutes and we never heard back. The views from the "back" porch are absolutely amazing and very easy access to the beach right in front of the home. Overall our stay was nice and we would absolutely return! We made some great memories there ~♡~

Happiness on the Beach

Beautiful home that accommodated a family of 5 adults and 3 children very well. The elevator was so wonderful to have for luggage. There were a few big Cockroaches outside on the deck, but we only found one inside, but it could have entered through the door when we had it open. The inside of the home was clean besides the shower curtain down stairs had some mold on it, but it was a super easy fix. All bedding, linens, dishes, ect. were clean and in good shape. The hot tub stopped working properly and probably needs maintenance updates of some sort, but wasn’t a huge deal to us. Property does not provide any items needed for the beach just so you know, but they do have an awesome shower outside to get the sand off of you when you return from the beach and just a few miles from there is Slash Creek Outfitters that rents chairs, tents, ect. at a reasonable price. The pictures and room information needs to be updated but didn’t effect us. Just know there are 2 queen bedrooms w/ tv downstairs along with a room that has 2 twin beds w/ tv in it and a shared bathroom for those rooms. Then upstairs is a queen bed bedroom w/ no tv but has a deck. The ocean views from the living room and the walk out deck attached is magical and you could not beat those amazing views!!! Beach access was a path but you did not have far to walk before you were there. We highly recommend this property to small families and would definitely rent this property again for sure!!! Wonderful place to stay and our crew enjoyed every moment!!

Great location, avoid Vacasa!

Pros: The location of this place is amazing and the space is nice. The house was nice and clean with a few minor issues. Housekeeping was very responsive. Cons: there’s a moldy smell in the downstairs, the upstairs tub had no hot water and the shower didn’t work. Repairs were not made during our stay. The pots and pans were in very sorry shape. General to know: unlike other beach houses in the area Vacasa does not supply beach towels or any beach gear, so if you say in a Vacasa place be prepared to bring some or purchase on site!

Clean and cute house on the beach

Very clean and cute house. Plenty of room for our family of 7 (5+2). Easy beach access with a quiet piece of beach compared to other spots on the coast. We trekked both up to Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills (hour plus to see Bodie Island Lighthouse, Jockey's Ridge, Wright Bros Memorial) and down to Okracoke (hour long ferry ride is just 10 minutes away). Some good spots to eat not far from the house. We'd definitely consider this house again.

Perfect Location

I absolutely loved the easy access to the beach, and the elevator in the home made packing/unloading super easy. We didn’t have access to the hot tub the first couple days, but they repaired it very fast. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the property. There was a serious amount of dog hair on the furniture, floor, and even the linens. If you or anyone in your group has a serious dog allergy like my son, this may not be the home for you. Overall it was an easy check in and out process.

First vacation in Outer Banks

The house was located ocean front in a very quiet neighborhood. The area was not as commercial as other areas on the Outer Banks but there were several options for dining, as well as a really great grocery nearby. The view from the living area and kitchen was amazing and it was only a short walk to the beach. The weather was great the entire week we were there. The best feature of the house is the elevator so anyone with mobility issues does not have to climb stairs and it was great for unpacking and packing the car. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. It is only a short drive to the ferry over to Oracoke or up the coast for some kid friendly activities. It really was a great week. We hated to leave but are already looking forward to next summer Sharon R
