Good location to old town.

Great location and the staff were very nice. The hotel has a cute retro feel. Would have gotten excellent marks if the hallways were updated too and air con for the rooms. Overall very good experience though.

Excellent value

Located on a quiet street right in the centre of town, 5 minutes from the coast, 10 minutes from the bus station, and 2 mins from a big supermarket. Our room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly.

Siisti kolmen tähden hotelli.Sijainti aivan mahtava keskellä kaupunkia.Siivous päivittäin,aamiainen vaatimaton,mutta asiallinen. Täytin pyöreitä vuosia matkalla ja oli kuohuviinipullo jäissä kyseisenä päivänä pöydällä!!

Hôtel très bien situé, calme et confortable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et variés. Le personnel dans son ensemble est vraiment très souriant et à l'écoute.

Rauhallinen katu, 8 min.kävelymatka cable carille.

Pros: Erittäin ystävällinen hlökunta ja vitsikäs siivoja; yöpaitani oli aseteltu sängylle eri asetoihin joka pv.50-luvun lopun teema toistui hyvin sisustuks
Cons: Valaistus. Esim. aamiaishuoneessa lamput voisivat olla kirkkaammat, vaikka 50 lukua mukaellen, valot olivatkin himmeämmät. Samoin yölamput.
Location: Sijainti hyvä.Kaikkiin keskeisiin kohteisiin pääsi hyvin kävellen. Lähellä cable car, josta pääsee ylös Montelle. Mercado, Santa Maria,satama,puistot
Ystävällinen hlökunta. Asiat hoituivat helposti ja nopeasti; opastus, taksin tilaus.. Hotellin sijainti hyvä. Kaikkiin Funchalin kaupunki nähtävyyksiin pääsi kävellen. Cable car; köysirata ylös Montelle vain 8 min. kävelymatkan päässä. Cable carilta noustiin pick- up autoihin, josta alkoi useimmat järjestetyt retket ympäri Madeiraa. Retkiä kannattaa ottaa matkaohjelmaan. Näkee paljon. Madeiran saari on upea ja mielenkiintoinen; näköalat, kasvit, historia. Valtavat banaanipuuviljelmät yllättivät, kun ajatteli rinteiden kasvavan pelkkää viiniköynnöstä! Yllättävää oli myös papajapuut. Kasvillisuus rehevää ja moninaista helmikuussakin. Viikon matkalla säät vaihtelivat rankoista vesisateista, ukonilmasta aurinkoisiin hellepäiviin. Lämpötila +15-21; pilvisyydestä riippuen. Tuuli ja sade painottuivat iltaa kohden. Santa Marian-katu vanhassa kaupungissa kannattaa katsoa; ovissa kivoja maalauksia. Ainoa mikä harmitti, oli että vuorivaellus lavadoreineen jäi näkemättä. Matka peruuntui rankan sateen vuoksi. Myös seuraavan päivän retki itäosaan typistyi lavadoreiden osalta, koska ed. päivänä oli tuuli kaatanut puita tielle. Ehkä mahdolliselle seuraavalla käynnillä pääsee katselemaan nämä kastelukanavat. Nauttiin. Ihmiset ystävällisiä. Obricadoa "viljeltiin" hymyn kera.

Hyvä sijainti, siisti hotelli

Perus siisti hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla Funchalin keskustassa. Henkilökunta oli todella avuliasta ja näki vaivaa asiakkaan auttamiseksi. Aamiainen oli sopivan monipuolinen. Näköalat hienot kattoterassilta, harmi etteivät säät sallineet uima-altaalla oleskelua lomallamme.

Hyvä hotelli ihan keskustassa.

Pros: Henkilökunta, aamiaiset ja aurinkoterassi.
Cons: Lämmiotys ?
