I have stayed several hotels in this particular area when I have Doctor appts at UF Shands. All have been ok… But decided to stay at Country Inn & Suites b/c of high ratings. From the booking online to phone calls and communication prior to check in, was very easy. Check-in and every encounter with hotel staff check in and check out, Breakfast bar… We’re some of THE NICEST and MOST HELPFUL of anywhere we have stayed on the road in various locations. The beds were comfortable.. Even the pillows and we’re picky pillow people!!! Room was VERY CLEAN. We will stay there again should need be for any reason to return to Gainesville.. I’ll also bookmark the same hotels elsewhere on the road in the future b/c of the wonderful experience here at this particular locale! Very satisfied guest.

Was close too stores,our dr.office.homeless in parking lot,traffic bad,hard too cross street.fridge didn’t work,shower filled with water,in bottom of tub,drainage bad.sink water smelled bad.Staff very nice and friendly.Dining room staff,really does outstanding job.Breakfast very good.dining area super clean,Dining room staff spoke English,which is always plus. The management needs to let the cleaners know when the rooms are empty not just them open the doors to see if somebody is gone.

Location is good, right on the exit of I-75, close to city, UF. Room size was good. Rooms are old with very basic furniture. Front desk area is very unattractive. Free breakfast was good with good food and staff.
