Nice place, very put out with the staff whom were dismissive and unhelpful especially on Christmas. I was charged an additional and undisclosed $35 resort fee specifically because I “booked through Expedia.” Also an undisclosed $50 deposit. I attempted to ask about these as well as my VIP upgrades and was cut off with no explanation given. At breakfast I asked about the benefit and it’s charged to the room and you must eat in dining room. I’m traveling alone with a pet I can’t leave alone in the room. “Oh well.” Sums up the overall mood of all staff. Won’t ever return.

Breakfast at Sidney’s was perfection with wonderful staff and a million dollar view. Villa scenery was beautiful with deer often walking by the patio. Personnel throughout the resort were friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Late October appears to be off-season with most activities and eateries closed. Only golf, pool, and 2 restaurants were open. Very few guests around/- almost like a ghost town. They say the resort is lively in summer. The furnishings could benefit from an update and the Margaritaville Shark’s Fin was soggy and salty (very low quality). Although desolate (e.g., less than 12 people), Margaritaville has a fun atmosphere and infrastructure.
