A lovely but expensive stay

We had a lovely stay here but not without issues. The place itself is lovely, the staff were great and very welcoming. We opted to go for the premium room with the outdoor shower however on arrival we had a loud and leaky AC unit. We spoke to the team and they were unable to get spare parts to fix it because of independence day which was incredibly annoying as all night it rattled and droned. It was incredibly hot and the owner suggested we had it on high heat and low breeze to try and make the noise better but unfortunately this wasn't possible. The following morning we were offered a smaller room as a swap however this wasn't what we wanted to book so left us in a very difficult position. In light of the issues I looked back at previous reviews for this room and I was incredibly annoyed to see that this issue was noted in November and clearly nothing had been done to fix or rectify the issue since then as the uploaded images were literally identical to what we experienced, even the same error code on the digital display! The breakfast was nice but not the best we had during our two week stay in Sri Lanka and on speaking with locals they also said it was quite possibly the cheapest breakfast that could be made which was also a shame to hear. We had a great time at The Jungle Loft, the location was quite which was nice however I would say it is incredibly incredibly expensive for what it is and on this basis I wouldn't be able to fully recommend it.

Très décevant. Ne mérite pas les avis récoltés

Aucun accueil à notre arrivée. Frigidaire défectueux dû à un problème électrique. Chambre de 60 mètres carrés mais 3 meubles qui se battent en duel Pas de ménage dans les chambres, nous avons dû vider nous-mêmes notre poubelle. Pas d’eau chaude le matin. 2 malheureux transats autour d’une piscine très agréable. Possibilité de dîner le soir mais en prévenant la veille : un seul plat local pour 15€ et bonne nuit… Cel ne correspond à ce que nous attendons d’un hôtel 4 étoiles. Nous avons écourté notre séjour au bout de 3 nuits sur les 7 prévues, sans remboursement possible.

Difficile de s’asseoir dans ces conditions….

Unsere Lieblingsunterkunft während unserer Sri Lanka Reise, sehr friedlich, ruhig und gemütlich, es liegt mitten im Dschungel, sodass man sogar Affen in den Bäumen klettern sehen kann. Trotzdem ist man super schnell in Galle und an allen schönen Stränden in der Umgebung. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und besonders das Abendessen hat uns begeistert! Die Villa is wirklich schön und geräumig, der Pool groß und sauber mit toller Aussicht auf den Dschungel, und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Fantastiskt hotell men som tyvärr saknar en del bekvämligheter för att göra det värt pengen du betalar. beskrivningen stämmer inte helt. - ej daglig städning - ingen arbetsyta för laptop - ej mörkläggningsgardiner - ej hårtork - ej spa - kunde inte få middag så fick vackert vara hungrig - ej kaffe/te i allmänt utrymme. ej heller på rummet. - såg inen snackbar/deli - ej bubbelpool. Tuktuk ordnades från hotell till tågstation men till ett enormt överpris. I övrigt väldigt lugnt tyst och rent.
