The location was excellent with the ocean & beach steps from the room as well as a pool & hot tub! The couch cushions could be updated, but for the price it was a great stay!!
This unit was clean, had a good view of the gulf, and was small but fit our needs for 6 people. I notified Vacasa the next morning when we discovered the toilet in the master bathroom wouldnât quit running on its own after flushing. We had to use a glass & fill the tank with 5 glasses worth of water to get it to stop running, every single time we used it. I sent a 30 second video to Vacasa guest service email as requested. No one came by to fix it during our 4 day stay. There is a tile that was cracked when we got there, at the corner by the bunk beds. Each time we stepped on it in the middle of the night, it felt like a soft spot. There are also soft spots in the master bedroom close to the patio door, & the queen bedroom. There needs to be more towels & washcloths than what were provided, we washed towels every day while there. The beds were comfortable, pillows were nice. Air conditioner worked great. The patio doors were hard to open and shut. Furthest away from elevators.
Terrible customer service and communication.
Unit was fairly clean, but very poor condition and maintenance. Also smaller than it seemed in pictures. Still, seascape itself is a nice place, and we did enjoy the beach time there.
Great pool, hot tub and beach access, but unit could use some updates
We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and beach access. The unit could use some updating. The top fridge had a pool of water each day that needed to be cleaned up, the garbage disposal is broken and no sink strainer, so the kitchen sink would easily clog and the side tables are so rusty that I needed to vacuum up the rust to walk on the back deck. If you can overlook these things, the small space seems bigger than it is and the two decks added extra hangout space which is nice. Bring a dry rack for drying towels or quarters for the washers and dryers on site. Also recommend bringing a cutting board which was the only kitchen item that we needed that the unit didn't have. We spent so much time outside that we really didn't mind that the unit could use some updates!
Upon arrival, the gate attendant was delightful. But the code to open the box to retrieve the condo key did not work. Upon calling the office for assistance, it required several different codes to provide access. The condo has so much potential for improvement. Definitely needs decor update. No closet in master bedroom and secondary bedroom only had 3 hangers. The coffee pot needs to be replaced as it is out dated and over used. The bathroom towels were very skimpy, but because we drove, we brought additional towels with us. The chairs on the balcony were literally falling apart. The pool was okay, except for all the rowdy kids. If stayed at many locations in Galveston, but never at Seascape. The location is great, but I would choose a different condo unit next time.
