Our host was amazing! I received timely responses during the reservation period and through the stay. Unfortunately, there was an unforeseen issue with the pool and a storm that came through which caused some problems. The host was so helpful and communicated with me very well as we got things sorted out.The house was beautiful and the location would be extremely hard to beat. Quiet neighborhood, close to quiet beaches, food and other amenities. Can say enough about how happy we were to stay here.

Beautiful wide open Canal view. Quiet relaxing get away. Great communication. Missing a few amenities that would have been helpful such as extra towels, dish towels and pot holders. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Overall the house was a great place to stay spot on the canal for fishing and the pool was a great thing to have to cool off. Super close to a drive on beach so it made it easy to drive to and enjoy and not have to unpack everything there.

This was a wonderful house to rent! It was very close to a public beach access. The pool was the perfect size for our group and the lower deck was perfect for non-stop fishing! The downstairs area by the pool was a great spot to gather, grill some food, and eat meals together. There was also plenty of seating on the upstairs deck. The outside shower made transferring from the beach to the pool very easy.The house was well maintained; the beds were bigger than advertised and each room had a TV that you could log into your own streaming services. The entire house was clean upon arrival. The A/C worked with no problems. We were unable to get the spa to work, but it was warm enough it wasn’t a bother. We would definitely stay at this spot again!

Excellent location

It started out rough but we had a great time. The pool heater had been left on so after traveling all day, we could not use the pool. It was too hot. We did not realize the fourth bedroom was downstairs. We definitely needed an extra bathroom, but that was also downstairs. The neighborhood is nice. The view is amazing and our crew really liked the kayaks and paddle boards. The Kitchen is in desperate need of utensils and pots and pans. It was very difficult to cook on such a limited supplies. It was definitely on the small side for the amount of people it can sleep . There were no extra linens for the futon upstairs.

Dishonest and stole our property

The second we left this property we immediately realized we left a very expensive 200 pillow in the bedroom upstairs, we knew exactly where it was left. So we called the property manager several times before we had even gotten home. After several delayed responses she continued to claim it was no where to be found. It’s very unfortunate that either the cleaning people or other staff decided to steal our property

Loved this place

My family and I just loved this house. The heated pool during the day was an added bonus! We fished off the dock every single morning/midday/night and we caught so many ribbon fish which we had never caught before. They were a lot of fun! Galveston is just a short drive from the house. We loved the house and location so much that we booked another stay there for the very next weekend while sitting in the hot tub on our last night. Winter was very responsive and immediately answered any questions we had. I highly recommend this house.

Living it Up on Labor Day!!

What a fantastic time!! This house is everything! It was perfect four our three families. The house was just as described - so clean and came with everything you need to cook and have fun! The kitchen was stocked with all needed cooking appliances including general seasoning items and coffee. The rooms were absolutely lovely with comfortable beds and pillows. The outdoors has everything you would need from people ages 4 and up. The pool, which had so many noodles and other accessories, was amazing and located such that we had a great view of the canal so the kids could play and say hello to the boaters passing by. The kayaks were fun and easy to use. And the outdoor balconies gave us views that will live in our minds and hearts forever. It was a splendid time and best of all, the owner was super responsive and tended to our every need. It was a magical weekend!

Communication with manager was fabulous!

We had a couple of hiccups that were unavoidable and management was fabulous and responded quickly. Most of the kitchen dishes were not clean so we washed everything before we used it. I would guess that was due to dishwasher not working great but cleaning staff should have checked dishes while they put up.

Exceeded expectations

Everyone had a great time! The property definitely exceeded our expectations and had so much outdoor space. Also, the activities were above and beyond we had so much fun fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and just enjoying the view that we could’ve stayed a whole week there not left the property..
