This property is beautiful and very well kept and clean. I would highly recommend it. I had just 2 small issues. The mattresses in the bunk room are very soft (they probably came with the bunks) and some adult guests may not enjoy them as much. Also we were disappointed to not find a baking sheet. Very minor issues that did not cloud our judgement of how nice the property is. I look forward to returning in the future.

The property was very nice! We had a small issue with a bunkbed and someone came and fixed it immediately. The location is excellent. Easy walk to the beach, the Pier and Murdock’s! Lots of restaurants close by also. I highly recommend this property! Perfect Easter get away with family.

Great family summer vacation in Galveston

Such a beautiful property! Fit 8 adults very well. Well stocked kitchen, we made dinner at the home almost every night. Easy walks to the beach, Pleasure Pier, Murdocks and food! So nice having garage parking! Observations: Grill needs a good cleaning to avoid flair ups. Wish there were more beach towels (only had 4) and more supplies than just the one/two day starter pack since we were there 6 days. The bunk room might be ok for little kids but the beds were not suited for adults. Ceiling fan in upstairs bedroom didn’t work and it got hot at night.

Great getaway!

We came as a group of 10 to celebrate some graduations. This property is immaculate! It is gorgeous! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed. The furnishings are beautiful! The porch and balcony are amazing. There is nothing I would change about this place! Parking in a two car garage and on the street was very convenient. There is a barbecue grill that is not listed in the amenities. The propane tank was empty though, so we didn’t use it. There is no trash can in front of the house or in the alley behind that has the the address of this house. (all of the other trash cans had an address painted on them) I called Vacasa two times to verify, both times I was told to leave the trash bags in the garage, which we did. Everybody in our party, agreed that it was a beautiful house, and we will be back!

DOG HAIR EVERYWHERE

Rented this house for a Mothers Day getaway. At first glance the house appears very clean, but there was dog hair all over the couches and when we pulled the covers back on the beds upstairs there was a lot of visible dog hair on the sheets which is gross. The listing did say pet friendly, but I wasn’t expecting dog hair to be in the beds. I personally don’t do animals in the house so this was a turn off. The power went out on the 2nd day at 4pm after a light rain which was the deal breaker with no back up generator. I called the management company and reported the outage and they told me someone would contact me. After 3 hours of sweating from no power, I called back and informed the management company my family was packing and leaving because they didn’t know when the lights would be back on and it was getting dark outside. I’m still waiting on the refund I requested for Sunday the day the power went out. Will never book in another home that is pet friendly and the owner may want to invest in a generator.

Hard to get a hold of

Arrived in dreary Galveston, we thought no big deal we will enjoy the home instead of going out. Well the internet was down for over 6 hours and the reception in the area is horrible. This home is managed by a huge property management company so when I called to ask the location of the modem to reset it. It took 6 hours for someone "local" to call me. I just wanted to relax and watch some TV after a long days travel and rainy weather. The primary bedroom mattress is awful. I wake up in a hole, the pillows are flat. There has to be better places to stay in the area at this price range.

Very nice property. Plenty of bathrooms with sinks for different couples to get ready. Very convenient location to walk to the Seawall, shops and beach. Short distance to churches and the wharf area.
