The condo was as advertised. Ample space for my family and me. Pretty much everything that you need was provided. However, the stay was tarnished when we were contacted the day before our checkout and was asked to not use the shower in the main bedroom due to a reported leak from the condo directly below. Of course we honored the request, but it was an inconvenience not being able to use the main shower. Regardless, neither the owner nor Coastal Waves offered any compensation for the inconvenience. Obviously itâs unfortunate that there was a plumbing issue, but thatâs part of ownership, and honestly some form of compensation .. anything .. should have been offered without asking or hesitation. Additionally, a pillow was left behind that had sentimental value. I contacted Coastal Waves just hours after the cleaning crew probably left, but somehow the pillow just vanished and again, it just felt like they really werenât that concerned or anxious to do whatever it took to locate the pillow. It is a shame because with exception to numerous broken/inoperable blinds, the condo really is nice. But when you pay the nightly rate that you do as well as the management and administrative fees on top of that, you expect matters such as these to be taken care of in a much better way.
