I stayed at this house for three nights while my dog and I were competing at an event at the Ulster County Fairgrounds.
This gorgeous house is very comfortable. The pictures don't quite do it justice. Master bed is very comfortable which is something you don't always get at a VRBO. If it's cold while you're there (I had a cold snap), the heating keeps everywhere perfectly comfortable. Kitchen is well-stocked. Master bedroom closet had extra blankets if what's on the bed isn't what you want (I don't like duvets but there was a perfectly lovely blanket just waiting for me.)
Property is very dog-friendly, with a large crate if you need it. Neighborhood is very quiet, but not great for dog walking due to the narrow road with fast car traffic and no sidewalks. The property does have an ample yard, however, so you will have plenty of green space for potty trips. Fortunately for those who want to walk your dog, there are a TON Of great places to walk nearby, including proper hiking trails, or rails to trails places if that's more your speed, and a lovely college campus to explore if hiking trails are muddy.
I would absolutely stay again. Awesome host was quick to answer questions and very friendly.
