Wonderful Stay

The room was exceptionally clean, the view was beautiful and the breakfast that was provided was outstanding. I would highly recommend this Inn for the close proximity to the town of Gardiner and Yellowstone's Norrh Entrance, and the quietnest of the area surrounding the Inn.

The place was very clean and the owners were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was made by the owner. The only thing I didn’t realize was the motel was 5 miles from Gardiner. It worked out fine since it was quiet and easy parking.

Best stay on my entire trip. Quiet, just out of town. Beautiful, expansive view. Usually a pleasant breeze. Veranda with rocking chairs. Pleasant conversation with other guests. Had a concrete pad for my motorcycle with a hose and old towels. Room was spacious and well appointed. Very clean. Breakfast was hot and adequate. Host / owner very gracious. Went out of her way to try to source an item for me. I would recommend

Enjoyed the western themed room which was very cozy! Very quiet area & views were beautiful. You will see elk across the road amongst the farm land most evenings and if you are lucky maybe even up close by the gazebo

Montana’s #1 Place to stay!

This hotel was the most relaxing, cozy comfortable place I have stayed at in a long time. The breakfast was delicious. The lady running the Inn is super nice and very accommodating. It’s super close to the entrance to Yellowstone park maybe 15 minute drive if that. I would give this place 5+ stars.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Yellowstone Basin Inn. I intended to stay just one night but ended up extending for a second night. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I was working on a photo scavenger hunt; they gave me some tips and directions to locations I might find useful. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast each morning was home made, fresh and a great start to the day. This location is not in the middle of town so don't expect to walk anywhere for dinner or anything like that but it only a few minutes outside of Gardiner. There is a Sinclair gas station before you get to Gardiner so fueling up before you hit the the park in the morning is easy and convenient. There is also a coffee stand in the parking lot of the Sinclair if you need your caffeine in the morning. The Yellowstone Basin Inn is the perfect location for a getaway without the crowds of the park and the towns immediately adjacent to the park. I highly recommend staying here and will book this location again when I am traveling in the area.
