At the foot of Cobbly Nob Resort is Bent Creek Golf Course, designed by three-time Masters and British Open Championship Winner, Gary Player. It is a par 72 course that opened in 1972. The front nine hugs the valley floor while the back nine offers a challenging mountain course. A beautiful sparkling mountain stream meanders throughout the entire course making for a breathtaking contrast between water and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Southern Living Travel Guide rated Bent Creek Golf Course in Gatlinburg, TN one of the “Top Fifty Golf Courses in the South”.

"The Old Bay Cabin" has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, and floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the mountain views. Amenities include a fireplace in the living room, wifi throughout if you need to stay connected, hut tub on the deck with a beautiful mountain view.

Everything was in good condition! We did notice that the table in the living room is a bit wobbly, so be careful. Other than that, no complaints! We would definitely recommend this property and would rent again! The views were beautiful!!

we were on a trip from Illinois to look at the views of the smoky mountains and complete a couple other activities. The views from the balcony did not disappoint, especially in the morning with a cup of coffee! The cabin was equipped with just about everything you needed to have a comfortable stay. The beds were especially comfortable! We’re already planning our trip back in the fall! Thank you for a great stay!

The host was very welcoming! We arrived early and were able to check in immediately!A few things should be addressed - the pots & pans need a good cleaning and the mattresses in both bedrooms need replaced. There’s only a partial view of the mountains. Overall the cabin was very nice.

Check in/access details were ready and available in plenty of time! The Cabin was spacious and beautiful inside and out! It was a perfect getaway for our 10 year anniversary! The host was quick and responsive when any help was needed. Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville were a short scenic drive away! Afterward we could relax in the hot tub and watch the sunset behind the mountains! We cant wait to go back!

The home was very comfortable. Beds were great. The experience would have been better with real dishes and wine glasses. Overall we really like it. The drive to the cabin was a little daunting for someone not accustomed to mountain roads. Chairs and tables on porch could have been a little cleaner. Beautiful space and view.

The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our stay. With a full bath and king-size bed in the upstairs bedroom, we had plenty of privacy when we wanted it. Having previously stayed in the Cobbly Nob area, when we saw multiple bears and cubs, we were not surprised to see a bear one evening. We watched him from the balcony/deck as he slowly made his way down the road across the driveway, through the yard, and then continued down the mountain, as if he didn’t have a care in the world. This was our daughter‘s first time to see a bear up close so she was especially excited. I highly recommend staying in the Cobbly Nob area, especially if you want to see bears. We saw bears previously in May and now at the end of August in this area. As with any Gatlinburg cabin, the roads can be a little steep, but nothing our Ford Explorer couldn’t handle in regular drive mode. The roads in the Cobbly Nob area are much easier to travel than some of the other roads we’ve been on in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.

Great vacation stay

Had a great time at Old Bay Cabin. Home is very clean and quiet. It is located outside Gatlinburg outskirts, so you are away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for shopping. Rebecca is a great hostess. Spotted 6 bears outside the cabin, 2 laid down in the yard. Definitely recommend this rental and will be back again.

Missing guest book. Would have loved to have left the review for our stay. Rebecca was great. No issues at all. It was quiet it was peaceful but the the cabin is on a front 3 way road an there can be a lot of traffic at times but nothing u can't deal with. If the owner can put up something like an exterior sun shade for privacy that would be nice. We will be back.
