There was a dead mouse and the whole cabin really smelled. I was surprised they let us check in. All our clothes and luggage smell so bad! They should have fixed this or moved our reservation. Horrible customer service.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here to celebrate our anniversary. Location was great for easy access to pigeon forge or gatlinburg. We will keep this in mind on further trips to the area.
All as listed and pictures. Good location easy drive into the city. Definitely very cold in the basement even with the house set at a comfortable temperature and the fireplace was not working downstairs. Luckily there were plenty of extra blankets in the room! The arcade game needed an update too so it was not working. All the other features were as described and it was an enjoyable stay!
This cabin was amazing! The location was great and close to Gatlinburg. We loved how the cabin had a hot tub, pool table, and other games to play. We enjoyed our time and would definitely stay here again or another one of their cabins!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Check in was a breeze and we didn't have any issues. The location of this cabin was AMAZING!!! We were close enough to Gatlinburg that it wasn't a hassle to get to, but we were far away that it was peaceful and quiet.
Our family vacation was amazing. The weather was perfect and the food was so good everywhere we went. A few things I would recommend is to inform the guests about the steepness of where the house is located and the cabin needs dusting really bad. It didnt hinder us but I would recommend a deep dusting. Also, the cabin didn't have a dumpster for the trash to go in. But other than that I would stay again!

Here's what you need to fix
1) Smoke alarm wouldn't start beeping when we walked in and we could not get with property manager to get the battery replaced - had to it ourselves. You need to have a true after-hours protocol for contacting someone and you need to CHECK THE ALARMS before renters get there.
2) Video game downstairs is broken - need to fix it, replace it, or quit advertising you have it. My daughter was SO excited so this wasn't well received when she turned it on. CHECK ALL ELECTRONICS before renters get there to make sure everything actually works.
3) Downstairs was freezing while upstairs was comfortable - you really need a second unit but the fireplace in the bedroom down there was busted too so at least fix that.
4) I could not locate an outside receptacle for our trash - get a dumpster or large can common to those three units or at least give clear instructions where I need to dump it when I have to.
5) Cannot lock the window over the sink in the kitchen - looks to be the wrong size window altogether. We need to be able to feel safe at night - get the right window in there so it can be locked.
6) Hot tub motor was INCREDIBLY loud, and I could not find any way to turn it off. Either get the pump working much quieter, or give your renters an option to turn it off so they aren't having to listen to it every second they are there. We had no interest in using it at all - not exactly enjoyable to listen to that.
7) Pool table has a hole in the felt. The felt overall is pretty worn as well, but you need to get rid of the hole for sure.
8) Not sure why (maybe someone stole it?), but you do not have a large frying pan. It was not pleasant at all cooking for a family of 5 using a small frying pan.
9) Upstairs shower glass is just hanging in the track - almost fell in on my wife while she was showering. NOT SAFE.
10) DVD player for upstairs TV did not work at all - no way to plug it in to the TV. That thing has to be 15 years old - I have not seen a DVD player without an HDMI plug in about that long. Get a new one - they're under $100.
11) A LOT of the things listed above should have been called out with even a cursory tour through this house by your management company before renters were ever under contract. I don't know what you're paying them, but trust me when I say you are NOT getting a good ROI based on everything wrong with this unit. It is a nice place - it wouldn't take much money at all to get this stuff fixed and start rolling in 5-star reviews.
