We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described—if not better. It felt welcoming and comfortable from the moment we arrived.The location was perfect, making it easy to get around while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, and it truly felt like a home away from home.Our host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Communication was smooth, and we felt well taken care of the entire time.We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free, and enjoyable stay. Great location- could use some changes- awesome hostOutdated and very worn out furniture.The ping pong table pictured and listed isn’t there. We had some issues like a broken bed, railings, dead bugs and dirty furniture when we arrived. Dirty dishes still in the dishwasher. But we contacted the host and he sent someone over the following morning to fix the railing and bed. Lots of dishes for cooking.
Chair looks like someone died and left there.

The cabin was nice along with surrounding wooded area. However the screened in porch was overrun by spider webs. We had issues with outlets not working outside along with some inside. Several of the clocks did not work, perhaps bad batteries. Ping pong table was missing, a huge disappointment for all. Hot tub had plenty of room but the jets did not work. We enjoyed our stay none the less.

Wonderful cabin

Perfect location

The cabin was very clean! Great instructions posted for instructions! We loved where we were, nestled in with some Mountain View’s off the deck and in the master suite and close to grocery store, gas station, and places to eat! Easy drive to downtown, trolley stop, and out to the national park. Our kids loved playing ping pong, the little arcade and relaxing in the hot tub! Plenty of kitchen dining for us all too!

Loved the cabin and had a blast exploring Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Great hiking and lots to do. My only complaint would be that the cleaners did not do a great job before we got there.

Positives and negtives

The entire room was spacious and could use a bit more cleaning. Under the couch was dirt and dust. The Internet was excellent. Negatives- the added cost of 750.00 and 250.00. Didn't know it would be more than half of the cost of the house. The stairs they are a triping hazard, rickety, and banter hanstire was sticky. The poach was Filthy. There was mousepoop under the swing, and the chair pads were very dirty and dusty. The swing. Cobwebs all over the porch area.

Mountain Getaway

The Great Smoky Mountains never disappoint, and neither did Gem in the Glades. The cabin was roomy, located close to all places of interest, and yet secluded.

Gorgeous cabin!

We loved the location of this property. Quiet and secluded with a beautiful view of the mountains from the huge porch. Super clean, an awesome lower level, and plenty of space. My only (tiny) complaint was the limited number of throw blankets for cold mornings and evenings and no measuring cups that we could find (we cook most meals on vacations). Loved the proximity to so many cute shops that weren’t in the middle of Gatlinburg’s busy downtown. Great stay!

Great stay in Gatlinburg

We had a short but very nice trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This cabin was beautiful with lots of space and an amazing wrap around deck with a swing. Our stay was great and would definitely recommend this cabin and host!

Glades Getaway

We stayed in the cabin for 4 nights, took my teenaged daughter and her friend. The cabin is set up nicely, plenty of room, and the wrap around deck is awesome. Beds were comfy, and the place was clean. We love the location the cabin is in because you can avoid all the big traffic in Gatlinburg. Only drawback is the driveway, it’s very steep and pulling out onto the main road can be tricky.
