Leaking ceiling

My family stayed just for 3 nights. The second night we woke up to water dripping on us in bed. They luckily had a room available and moved us down the hall. We requested some sort of compensation for the inconvenience and water all over our stuff and kept getting the run around. It has been 2 weeks and I still have not received a call back from the manager. I have attempted to contact him 4 times and there was always an excuse. The front desk people are very nice, but communication with management is lacking.

This was our second trip with this hotel! We absolutely love this place. The beds are amazing. The staff is awesome. This is our go to hotel from now on!

The staff was very nice, but our room was not quiet off the front roadway, and the room was in need of being cleaned better. The sink was falling in on the counter, the light fixture was rusting and the remote didn't work half the time we were there. The pool was the highlight, since it was indoors and was kept clean.

Noisy budget option

Beds & pillows were good, staff was friendly. Good price. But room is an exterior entry motel room that was was noisy from fridge and AC, thin walls, trash truck that came around 6:30am even on Sat and Sun banging dumpsters and using back up signal. Insufficient parking. Ok budget option if you know what you're getting into.

Despite the dated rooms and lobby, the staff was great! They helped me find trails for me and my son, they were friendly and attentive. The cons were that the Glenstone Lodge appears to be the go-to hotel for school trips and sports competitions which made for a lot of noisy evenings. We did go here during Spring Break, so perhaps keep this in mind when planning. It was about a 15-min walk to the shopping area of Gatlinburg, so you don't have to pay the $20 parking fee in the downtown area. Our room, though dated, was clean and had a nice street view. This is the perfect budget hotel for families.

I came to this property not knowing what to expect and it was amazing!! The bed was comfortable. It was right down town so u can walk to everything. The only down side is the bathroom was small.

So first off let me say that Expedia makes this place look completely different than what it is!! Our room was in the back of the hotel with an outside entry. When I booked this room it said NOTHING about having to outside to get into our room!! So how fun was that to go to the pool and have to leave the inside to walk outside to get to your room!!! It sucked!! The bathroom was clean however you could see outside through the side and bottom of the door..apparently they don’t know what weather stripping is!! The space is so bad between the door that one of the nights I smelled pot. The smell continues to worsen. I opened the door to find a girl using our 1 chair outside of our room to sit and smoke pot!! WTH!!!! I had to ask her to go somewhere else to do her drugs. Then we had a ton of ants on the carpet because of the huge gaps in the door!!! The walls are paper thin!!! If you are going for a relaxing quiet stay and you don’t want to hear everyone going past your door and your neighbors ENTIRE conversation…I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! The only good thing about our stay was the amazingly friendly staff and proximity to the main strip!!! I will NEVER stay here again and will NEVER EVER book through Expedia!!!

Enjoyed almost everything about our overnight stay except that there was absolutely no hot water in the morning to take a shower or even wash your face. Not even lukewarm- ICE cold. All we got from the service desk was an I’m sorry. I’ve never stayed anywhere that didn’t have hot water for their guests. So make sure to take your shampoo and soap with you to the hot tub if you plan at staying at this place!!
