It was difficult for me to find the access code once I arrived. I believe it was hidden in the original email and took forever for me, being an older man, to find it. A separate email or text would of been so much easier.

Overall layout of rooms is great, every room has a nice view. However the cleanliness of the property is not there, many rooms are dusty, bathrooms curtains are molded, some bathtubs are poorly drained. Kitchen is well equipped but some items like silverware are not enough even for 6 guests. Note for senior guests; the house is hard to drive to at night due to a lot of uphills and downhills and curves! Bears are very active in the areas. Our Van got severely vandalized by bears!

A delightful retreat!

My family and I had a delightful stay in this cozy yet spacious log cabin. We had plenty of room, the beds were super comfy, the kitchen contained all the tools you would need and the game room was lots of fun. The cabin was clean, and the location was ideal, about a 5-minute drive from the center of Gatlinburg, yet quiet and private. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Family Christmas Trip

Although the cabin was the ideal size for our group, I was a bit disappointed with the setting. The location was in close proximity to Gatlinburg as described in the listing, but we didn't realize that the neighbors would be SO CLOSE. I suppose we were just expecting a bit more seclusion. The cabin was cozy, with a well equipped kitchen, cozy fireplace in the living room and the game room had plenty to do. The unit was nicely outfitted and very clean and the host was quick to respond and very accommodating.

Excellent!!!

My family had a great time at this cabin. Very nice and enough space for us all. Beds were super comfy!!! The game room and bear activity were hits. Big bear on back porch one night and two cubs another night eating in the side yard and then climbed about 100 ft up the tree. Excellent communication with owner and would definitely stay there again. A nice slice of nature.

Beautiful area and great location

We went on a family trip to spend some time together and tour Gatlinburg. Every place we went was no more than 10min from our cabin it made things very convenient. The cabin was clean and layed out where everyone had their own space to sleep and the game room was a fun add to spend family time in. I would definitely go again.

Great get away

First time in Gatlinburg and it was awesome. Siri was great to deal with, answered any questions very quickly, the air stopped working in the middle of the night and they had it fixed in no time. My twin 4 year old grandsons had a blast and got to see several bear, one was on the porch looking in at us which was awesome for all of us to see but especially them. I would definitely stay again, great location, great owners overall we all had a great time.

Great for extended family.

There were 3 couples in our party. It was great having king size beds and private bathrooms for each. All other spaces were perfect for our group. Be prepared for steep, narrow, curvy roads getting there — but if you want a mountain cabin that is what you get!

Excellent property and management

We were very pleased with our stay. Everything was as expected and there were no issues. We brought our dog and the owner even included supplies, such as cover and treats, which was pleasantly unexpected. Three bedrooms was nice, one on each level, all with their own bathroom. Was spacious and plenty of room on the decks, both with rocking chairs and one with a swing. Hot tub and pool table were great for downtime. Roads to the cabin were steep, but nothing overly concerning. If there was one concern, though not for us, as we only had one vehicle, I am not sure how more than one vehicle would park in the driveway, as it was steep until the top, which was flat. Other than that, I highly recommend this cabin for its locations and amenities.

Perfect for multiple families

We spent the long weekend with my wife’s family the the cabin was perfect for a large group of multiple families. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms was great. We loved the location and had no issues parking 3 full sized pickup trucks on the driveway.

Loved the property; location is excellent, both close to town, but in a quiet neighborhood with nice views. Saw bears around the house, so keep an eye out. Everything in working order; easy parking for two cars and could have added a third. Had a wonderful time. Thanks

Liked it a lot, but a few things were disappointing.

Beautiful area, location, community and home. Although the following things weren’t deal-breakers, they do need attention: Of the 4-seater hot tub, only 1 seat’s jets worked. Ice maker doesn’t work. Dishwasher had black mold in the silverware basket and the heat-to-dry feature doesn’t work. Although we didn’t bring pets, it was obvious that pets have had accidents on the carpet in the basement. Lots of stains and had pet urine odor. Entire home could use a good and thorough deep cleaning. No trash pick up the 7 days we were there. The “bear proof” trash boxes did not keep bears out! They clearly know how to unlatch the metal boxes as we had a couple of trash nightmares that were pretty nasty to clean up…YES, we ALWAYS double-checked the latches.

Overall our cabin was lovely, quite a bit smaller than it appeared in the pictures. We had 6 adults and 1 toddler the kitchen was a bit tight, the main floor bedroom has a king size bed which is great but to get through to the bathroom was a squeeze. (Believe there was a queen size before). For all of us to sit at the table you have to have each person slide in.. and couldn’t get up unless others moved.. The hot tub was quite the entertainment for our 4 year old grandson but only one jet was working for the adults to enjoy. And in the pictures it appeared there was a Mountain View well that picture was taken when the leaves where off the trees. A bit disappointing if the view if that’s what you are looking for. Fantastic location!

Family Trip for Dance Competition

This cabin met our needs perfectly. We were in Gatlinburg primarily for a dance competition, and the cabin was perfectly situated to allow us to get into town, but also take advantage of everything in the surrounding area. Instructions are clear, check-in/out was a breeze, the owners were extremely communicative and kind. We had some unforeseen circumstances arrive with respect to our travel plans and they were very understanding. Would highly recommend.

Black Bear Falls Cabin

This cabin is in a great location with easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge yet still far enough away to forget about the traffic of downtown areas. The cabin feels very private even though it is in a neighborhood. The upstairs king bed was very comfortable. The other bedrooms looked cozy too. Next time we stay here we'll bring friends since it has three King Suites, one on each floor. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and the private relaxing hot tub.
