Excellent Stay

I would recommend this Super 8 to others staying in Gatlinburg. The room was renovated recently, the bed was very comfortable. The only improvements the hotel could do is darken the window. On the third floor as the bright lights shine in at night. At check in the staff was very friendly!

Even saw a bear!!

I had a good experience, the room did smell a little bit musty but thats the only negative i can say. It was a great location, wonderful nice staff, great price and i even got to see a bear outside

It was convenient to Anakeesta and the pool wasn't terrible, the hot tub looked like it hadn't worked in a long time. Definitely overpriced fir what we experienced. The room was tiny although it said it was suitable for 5 people...beds were uncomfortable

The room we stayed in (107) had roaches and we had issues with the toilet flushing. When we let the hotel know about the toilet not flushing it took them along time to resolve the issue. The pull out couch was very dirty. When I let the lady know at the front desk that our room had roaches she just looked at me in disbelief. The breakfast wasn’t fresh. The room smelt like cigarettes and musty smell as well. I won’t be staying there anymore unless something is done and the rooms are cleaned and updated and the customer service is improved. We drove along ways just to get poor service.

The only thing good about this property is the location, other than that they're breakfast was some muffins and warm bananas. The pool had cracked tile and pieces of the side of the pool that had broke off and we're in the bottom of the pool so you were stepping on them. About 30 minutes after check in, We noticed a whole army of baby ants in our bathroom. Went down to the front desk, they didn't send anybody to our room to take care of it or anything so I ended up cleaning them up myself. The refrigerator was not cleaned out there were still pieces of cheese and crumbs in the bottom of it. I mean I didn't expect it to be like you're staying at the Ritz, but I did expect it to be a little cleaner. And it definitely looks like it's not been updated in about 20 years. To be honest I don't think I will ever stay at this property again.

Location and clean are the only two good things.

The room had a strong mildew odor when we arrived. We had to run the fan in the bathroom 24/7 to help with it. And leave the bathroom door open. The beds were not comfortable at all. Very hard mattress. My back is killing me. It was clean and most of the staff were helpful. The pool had some kind of granulated chlorine stuff that made the bottom feel like hard sand. The continental breakfast was lacking. Not much to eat and only on our last day was the staff restocking and helpful. During the weekend the staff just looked at you if you asked for items that were missing.

It was HORRIBLE. The room was disgustingly dirty with poop on bathroom walls and moldy mattress. On vacation 10 hours from home and they charged my credit card when I said I wanted to pay cash. Then refund will take a week. What am I supposed to do? Out that money then had to pay for a room at another motel. Completely dissatisfied and will NEVER stay at a Motel 6 again. The woman staff was terrible. No concern. No empathy. Refused to let me talk to manager and wouldn't give me his contact information. Thank you for ruining my trip to Nashville with my 10yo.

Listing in Expedia states dogs and cats welcomed. Front desk has multiple signs saying no cats. Sooo that’s fun not getting a refund and having to get a different hotel late at night after a 12 hr drive. Don’t stay here.
