Real charm and location!

Comfortable stay. A bit dated but with a real charm. Most convenient location on the strip.

Please remember that this is a historic hotel built in 1937. Location is everything here, however this is NOT a soundproof hotel. You can hear literally everything. So, if you are a light sleeper like me, you will not rest here! But staff was amazing, breakfast, and location great!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Gatlinburg inn! Our only suggestion would be to add mini-fridges. Otherwise we had no issues. Thanks for the great stay!

Best Breakfast ever!

Wonderful hospitality and the best breakfast ever! homemade doughnuts and mini rhubarb loaves at checkout! And in spite of being in a busy area, the rooms were quiet. Bathrooms were updated and very nice. We liked the rich history displayed on the walls and log cabin feel.

Spring Break trip

We had a great time. We love the location of the Historical Gathering Inn as you can walk everywhere as it is right in the heart of downtown. We love staying here and we love the secure parking and breakfast.

I really enjoyed my experience at the Gatlinburg Inn and appreciate the historic value of the property. However, as with many older properties, I learned that the walls are paper thin. I also learned that the man in the next room had untreated sleep apnea. I guess the upside of that is that I never felt alone! I recommend staying at the Gatlinburg Inn just be aware it’s a bit of a communal experience!

Very cute little hotel. My only complaint is beds were not comfortable and it said they were dbl beds but felt much smaller. Staff was very friendly, location was perfect for what we wanted.

As a history buff, the Inn has a lot. It’s almost like a time capsule rich with local and world events and snapshots into the past with just enough modern amenities. The location is central to everything and the full breakfast cannot be beat. The staff is friendly and helpful. What other place gives you a homemade pastry when you check out? We won’t stay anywhere else

Have been to Gatlinburg so many times and always wanted to stay here due to the location and how cute it looked! Only issue was I wish we would have known major work was being done on 2nd floor was quite loud when u wanted to sleep in.
Gorgeous porch!
Very homey feeling!
My husband loved the vintage sign.
Had not used a key in a hotel forever.
