We had a lovely stay at this charming 1911 beach house! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach via a nearby path, and close enough to Seaside for convenience while still feeling peaceful and removed from the crowds. The home is spacious, with plenty of beds and common areas for gathering, as well as quiet nooks for alone time. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked, which made meal prep a breeze.A few things to note: some of the twin beds were not that comfortable, and with only one plug in each bedroom, charging devices was a bit of a challenge. Portable fans in each room would also be a great addition, especially during warmer weather but also note that the heat seemed to not reach the bedrooms upstairs much. We also found it a little confusing that there was a no-shoes policy indoors, yet the carpets were quite stained and could use a deep clean. Overall, this home has a lot of character and space, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches and great location. With a few updates, it would be even more comfortable. Thanks for hosting us!

Lovely, large historic home, great for large gatherings

7 adult women rented this property for a celebration of life weekend and it was a great choice. The kitchen is very well equipped and the 7 bedrooms are large with jack and jill baths in most of them. We had ample supplies, paper towels, hand soap, clean towels etc. The home is a beautiful walk to the beach and near the park. There are many places to gather each day, the sun porch, family room, formal dining and living room, so lots of place to spread out. I would suggest the carpets need replacing or have a thorough cleaning and I would be careful if you rented in high heat, as I am not sure it is air conditioned. Overall, a marvelous place for family and friends.

This spacious home worked well for our 10 member multi generational group. Lot's of room for everyone to enjoy. Walkable to the beach for most.The house does need some updating/ refreshing. Carpet needs to be replaced/ cleaned as well as the oven and BBQ.Kitchen needs some love.

Nice house for an Oregon coast gathering

Well laid out house with well supplied kitchen. Only 3 bathrooms for 7 bedrooms, but we made it work. Bring some extension cords as there aren't many electric outlets in the bedrooms (pretty normal for a vintage beach house). Overall we really enjoyed our stay

Favorite House Ive Ever Stayed In

This is by far the best house ive ever stayed in. Its so pretty and cool. Its huge with lots of rooms. Right next to the beach. It has so many nice touches to. And its a good house for playing sardines. We will definitely stay here again.

“Old Time Charmer”

We rented this home without truly knowing what our need was. It was my son’s wedding and arrival times for the wedding party were staggered as most were From out of state. We wanted the flexibility to house up to 12 people if needed. This home handled It wonderfully. Plenty of room for games, entertainment and gathering. The October weather was amazing so the short walk to the beach worked perfectly. Friends from TX had their first beach bonfire, S’mores and Beach fire cooked Hot Dog lunch. The house was a critical part of making the memories.

Family vacation

House was spacious. Very dated but clean. If you just switched out the stained rug in the living room it would make a big difference. Cookie sheets and more pots and pans would be good too. The primary bathroom sink doesn’t drain well also

Huge bright house with beautiful views

We loved this house! The kitchen was very large, we had enough table room to sit for many meals together, and there were plenty of spaces and beds for everyone. We had a blast gathering the whole group together for playing charades and other games in the large living room. I think the beds were full size/double beds and not queens as listed. And the bunk bed room beds were definitely well worn and not super comfortable. This was not a deal breaker, but it is worth noting. Over all we were very pleased with our stay.

Perfect house for Family fun

Size of home and location was perfect. We even had fun with one of the reviews that mentioned a ghost in the house. We looked high and low for that fella. No such luck. He is GONE. House was great. We will surely check availability on our next trip. Thank you for nice property.

Wonderful Place

My family of 10 met at this Gearhart VRBO to celebrate my Mom’s 89th birthday. It was perfect. A 5 minute walk to a quiet and beautiful beach, house was spacious enough so people could spread out, and the kitchen was totally stocked with anything needed. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Great location. Beautiful Exterior. Interior is in great need of a makeover. Very dirty and old

So disappointed in the cleanliness of the home. Found dog or cat hair all over the VERY stained carpet and dated old furniture. Kitchen is very old, pots and pans need replacement. It was nice to have 2 refrigerators. It was a big home with 7 bedrooms. But one bed did not have a top sheet. Bedding could be replaced. It needs an update. The location is great with right next to the pathway to the beach. Update the home! Clean the carpet or just replace the old flooring. Get some basic sheet pans for the kitchen, replace the cabinetry. Many of the drawers wouldn't close. With the size of the home, it would be great if there were some very needed updates. Will contact the Vacasa to request a refund on the cleaning deposit since we needed to vacuum and clean the pet hair.

Comfortable, roomy beach house.

This house was great for the 11 of us having a family get-together over Memorial Day. The kids loved being able to walk out to the beach by themselves. There was room to spread out and also be all together. There are some shabby aspects to the house. It needs a deep cleaning, as there were cupboards and surfaces that weren't clean.
