The cottage is quaint with everything you need to unwind and relax. The boat dock is fantastic for sunset viewing. The owner was responsive to questions. The grill and patio area made for perfect views while enjoying a meal. Everything was perfect.
Our group of girlfriends got together for a weekend stay at this property and we had a great time! The location is ideal for being right on the water, close to wineries, and close to downtown Geneva. We booked a wine tour through Crush and they were able to pick us up right at the house. Overall the place was clean, super cute, and in an ideal spot!
The property was beautiful with a great view of the lake.
Karen went above and beyond, we arrived a bit early and were patiently waiting for the cleaning service to finish when Karen welcomed us with a complementary bottle of wine, glasses and invite to sit on the front patio! Definitely would return
Our stay at Pine Ridge was very comfortable. It's a small cottage, but still plenty of space, well maintained and well stocked. There is no Keurig any longer as pictured; only a brew coffee pot. I'm glad I asked before we arrived so we were well prepared. We had a lovely stay on a chilly April weekend. The whole home warmed up nicely with the use of the gas fireplace and the heating unit on the front porch. And we were even greeted by a baby raccoon on Sunday morning! Definitely on a list of places to return to!
Our stay was wonderfully relaxing and gorgeous. You can't go wrong with the view from the loft bedroom of the lake as well as the view from the sun room. The cabin has a well stocked kitchen to easily cook whatever you want. Comfy beds. You can't go wrong with this space.
Our stay was just 2 nights. We had a great stay. The owner was friendly and provided a very clean home. We were able to take the kayaks out in the lake. So nice. Only regret was that we would have liked a longer stay! Peaceful.
This house is pretty much as described, though the photos donât show that it is about 20 ft from the house next door. There is a privacy fence but it is definitely not secluded. The views from the porch, upper deck and boathouse are all terrific and we really enjoyed watching the sunset from the comfy adirondacks. Boathouse is very nice and has excellent seating where we had one lovely waterside breakfast. There were no bugs at all, and the lake water is super clean and clear, albeit a tad chilly but still good for swimming. There is 1 tandem ocean kayak and a single as well, plus life jackets. We especially enjoyed the well appointed kitchen with Henkels knives, though we missed having a dishwasher. Sheets and bed in the loft were excellent quality. Bathroom was small and could use an upgrade. It had the only mirror in the entire place, making getting ready in the morning a challenge. For multiple people. Recommend adding a mirror in each of the bedrooms near outlets. The bedrooms downstairs were adequate but very dark because of the opaque shades. You have choose between darkness and privacy or being exposed to the neighborhood. Blinds or shutters would be a huge improvement. As a result, we used the lower bedrooms as dressing rooms and slept upstairs. WiFi was excellent but no smart TV so we streamed on my laptop. Despite the opportunities for improvement, I would say that this house has some very nice features and is a good value. Close to the main town and many other things to do, such as the Keuka outlet trail, where you can bike to two waterfalls, a zillion wineries, Watkins Glen state park , and much more. We had a great time.
This property was absolutely beautiful! There are so many great little aspects about this rental: the key-less entry, cleanliness, comfortable beds, great location, great communication with the property owners, and being able to enjoy being right on the water. My friends and I had an amazing trip and I would rent again whenever I would be vacationing in the area again.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. Stunning lakefront views and an immaculate, comfortable house that was perfect for us. We grilled out every night and watched the sunset. During the day, we kayaked on the lake, hiked nearby trails, and rode bikes from the house to the Cayuga-Waterloo trail. Property is secluded and in nature, but just 15 minutes to grocery stores and pharmacies in Geneva if you need anything. Vineyards all around. Perfect location and the owners were there for us if we needed anything, helping us with bikes. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed this home - very much. We were a family of 5 and had plenty of room and comfort. The dock and small beach were a great plus. Great location on Seneca lake - close to Geneva and stores/restaurants there. View and sunsets were amazing and we loved using the kayaks. Bicycles were advertised on site description but not available.
My wife and I really enjoyed this place. We really enjoyed the setup overlooking the lake. It's a perfect place to be watching the sun set.
Location is nice too, it was a short drive to the town of Geneva or Waterloo.
We would come back here again!
This house was cute and very clean. The owners were very nice and helpful. This was our first trip to New York and we could not have ask for a better place to stay. This house has everything you need to have a great vacation.
