The hotel location is great. Right on the lake and it’s quiet. Parking is easy and walkable along the lake and into Geneva. We had breakfast at the on site restaurant and the service was wonderful. However, it seems the hotel needs to be staffed up to improve the cleanliness of the rooms and the grounds.

41 Lakefront is a very nice hotel with a beautiful view. Located right on Seneca lake it's conveniently located near many vineyards. There is a wonderful restaurant right on property. I highly recommend staying here when you are in Geneva.

We would recommend washing the windows of the hotel. We were on the 5th floor and looking out at the beautiful view was marred by the bugs on the windows.

The bathroom had a nice mirror but the shower was not usable. The curtain was almost torn off, the tub did not drain. I was only able to take a 6-7 minute shower, my child could not shower. When i reached out to management they only said " sorry to hear that your unhappy" We went to another hotel

Loved being by the lake and next to the welcome center and the state park. Coffee was not good, but that’s a personal taste. Dinner menu at hotel was very limited and only changed once a week. No substitutions allowed.

Iffy about the experience

Great location, beautiful view of the lake and 5 mins away from Hobart, which was the reason for the trip. The hotel itself is outdated, and I didn’t feel like it was very clean, specially the bathroom. There was mold on the shower and the floor was pretty gross. One of the elevators was not working, I’m not sure how long it’s been that way, so with 6 floors, lots of guests, and one elevator, everything took way too long. The parking lot was very inconvenient, and I encountered some of the staff there “pre gaming”. Also, their restoring is closed on Sundays, as are most of the places down town, so beware. Overall I might stay again, but only due to its location.

The room was neat looking, but the carpet needed attention and the bedding was questionable. There were little black things inside the sheets which made me think the sheets should have been changed. The bathroom was clean and the towels were fresh. We were traveling with two dogs but being right outside the elevator was a big distraction causing the dogs to bark.

Stayed here because if the view. We were on the third floor and windows were high and small, couldn’t sit and see out. Property was in need of maintenance. Many things didn’t work, remote, lights, coffe pot in room needed cleaning, tasted moldy. Food at restaurant was awful. One evevator closed , didn’t work. Grounds needed care.

One elevator has been out of service for a long time. Staff were spread very thin. Hostess/waitress in the restaurant was AMAZING. Construction was initiated in both driveway entrances at the same time making it difficult to get in and out safely. Internet service was really bad.

Not Clean. We booked a King Room Suite with a Jacuzzi tub. When we checked in and went to our room it was dirty. Scuff marks on the walls, streaks & smears on the furniture, big soap scum smear on the shower glass, small hole/tear in the flooring, bed sheets VERY WRINKLED and generally not clean. Also the elevator floor was filthy! Looked like it had never been cleaned. I went back to the desk a wanted another room. They did NOT have another King Suite w/Jacuzzi. so we moved to another regular room. Still not very clean, but better. We were not impressed with the eating facility, and only ate there once! Also, one of the two elevators was not working. I enquired at the front desk when it would be fixed? Not for another MONTH! Not good! The Tiny indoor pool looked terrible. Murky water, we dared not to use it. The location was great, it was in walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. The Lake was beautiful. Geneva was a cool town to visit. I'd like to go there again, but I would not book a room at this place.
