Stayed with a group of friends for a beach weekend. Property was nice with a short dive to the beach. Great Communication with the owner. Would book again.
VRBO LISTING REVIEW 80 Moores Beach Road,, Pefferlaw, ON, L4P 2M6 CanadaCOMMENTS: Rental Nightmare Aside from being very filthy this place was not well appointed at all & misrepresented as a luxury rental. Some of the specific issues we encountered were:The bathrooms tubs were dirty including cheap dirty plastic shower curtains. There were no bath mats so the tubs were very slippery while showering. There are no grab bars. There was no plug for either tub so no baths. The main bathroom nozzle was badly corroded and unusable. There were no washcloths. There was no dressers except in the primary bedroom. The bedroom downstairs only had air mattresses no real mattresses. The windows and floors were filthy. Many kitchen conveniences such as garbage bags, tea towels, vegetable peeler, colander, tablecloths, placemats were missing. The dishes were filthy with crusted on food. The Keurig coffee maker didnât work. The back deck needs to be replaced. Canât bbq as the propane tank was empty. There was only one garbage pail in the entire place. There is no notice that the house is on well water and will shutoff. The worst thing is that I immediately developed a horrible allergic type rash on my face and had to switch pillows. No propane so no functioning BBQ. Owners offered no corrective action.
Great home for a long weekend ice fishing getaway. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large kitchen and dining room area. The home was perfect for the guys to have a bonding weekend with our kids ice fishing. The home was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep and relaxing after a long day on the ice. The owner was very responsive to questions and we had a great rentalThis is the second time weâve stayed here and weâve enjoyed both trips. Already looking to book again for next winter
Had a little trouble with access but called VRBO and made contact with the owner. smoothed everything out - owner seems very nice. Only thing I would recommend is bringing a role of paper towel and maybe an extra garbage bag. Not upset about it just a recommendation if you stay here.Overall, we enjoyed the stay and will book again
Great home and a great location for ice fishing. We stayed for 4 days 3 nights. Lots of space in this home. Enjoyed the rec room which had a pool table, card table and foosball table.
Mud room/porch out front added a great space for our boots and gear. Laundry room had a lot of space to dry stuff in as well.
A few additional plates cups cutlery etc would have been nice but the home had everything we needed to cook/eat during for our stay and was well furnished and very comfortable.
Will definitely book here again and would recommend
Not as it appeared in pictures, wish I had taken pictures of actual property. We came for a wedding with my small grandchildren and had a rushed agenda, the lack of communication and limited utilities made this agenda almost impossible. I have never left a bad revue but feel this is called for.
1. Dangerous broken stairs on deck
2. Rotted deck
3. Bbq with unusable propane usage
4. Broken coffee maker
5. Filthy kitchen and bathrooms (hair left)
6. Dirty towels and linens
7. Yellow, stink water
8. Dog hair, even tho no pets allowed, watch for allergies
9. Rags hanging off deck cover
We had a family wedding nearby and used this as our home base. It was big enough for my adult kids to spread out, and enough well stocked bathrooms for everyone to be ready for the festivities. It took away much stress being the mother of the bride. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Our group of four stayed for a few days of ice fishing. The property was very clean and accommodating. The host was very responsive and helpful during our stay. We are looking forward to our next stay.
