Clean, spacious room. There was tea/coffee in the room but no bottled water. Staff friendly and reception staff in particular helpful Had dinner in Chop and service very slow. For the small main portions that were served food was overpriced and fries with two of the dinners were cold. Buffet breakfast in the morning had a good selection to choose from. Lifts small and one of the two was out of order which was frustrating as due to a health condition find stairs very difficult.

Only stayed for one night but what a lovely hotel. Check-in staff at reception were welcoming and very friendly. Check in was a breeze. The room was large. Immaculate. Huge bed which was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in ages. Tv, iron, hairdryer, fridge, microwave and kettle. Breakfast was superb. Food regularly restocked. Excellent choice of both hot and cold foods. Breakfast staff helpful and welcoming with a smile and friendly. Hotel is a 15/20 minute walk from George Square but the number 2 bus stops a 1 minute walk away. Ubers to town £6. Very impressed. Would definitely return.

These photos are so well taken on the website because it is nothing like shown. The carpets are heavily stained, there was broken glass on our floor. There are unregistered guests going in and out of the property. I would not recommend.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Money Unfortunately, our stay was far from satisfactory. We encountered several issues that significantly affected our experience. The pillows were extremely hard and clearly very worn – they are in desperate need of replacement. There were also visible stains on the carpet, bed, and bedding, which made the room feel unclean and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, there was constant construction noise outside throughout our stay, which was very disruptive and made it difficult to relax. The car park was also a major issue. Around half of the spaces were far too small, making it stressful to park and manoeuvre without worrying about damaging the car. Considering we paid an additional £30 for parking, we expected a much better setup. While the reception staff were friendly and polite, the overall experience did not meet expectations. For £202 for two nights including the parking, we expected a far higher standard. We are extremely disappointed and, sadly, won’t be returning.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sandman Hotel in Glasgow. From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming, kind, and genuinely happy to help. The hotel itself has a great artistic, modern vibe with stylish design touches that make it feel creative and cozy rather than cookie-cutter. Huge bonus points for being so dog-friendly! Our pup was treated like a proper guest, and it made traveling so much easier knowing pets are truly welcome here. Comfortable rooms, great atmosphere, and a fantastic central location for exploring the city. Would happily stay again and recommend to anyone visiting Glasgow (especially fellow dog parents!).
