We loved our stay at Livin on the Edge. You cannot beat the location. You can throw a rock into the river from the balcony! Plenty of room and accommodations in the house. The only complaint I have is they decided to do lawn service the Saturday we stayed and it was a bit annoying having to hear and talk over the loud equipment noise running during our stay. Everything else was great though and we would love to stay again!
We gather all our kiddos together to do our Caddo Cousin Christmas! This cabin was perfect for that. Loved the split bedrooms from the main living area. The manager was great at communicating! A will stay again
Had a great time here but the problem we had was all the spiderwebs and the grass not being blown off of the sidewalks other then those things had a blast
We love the Home but shower was dripping last year in Master, this year it still is. The floor in Master is weak on the right side of bed. It has three boards that feel like you will fall through. I stepped over them every day. Some of the cookware needs to be updated. The house just needs some love and updates to be the great house it is. We wonât book a third time if not repaired.
Our party of nine had a great time! There was plenty of room for everyone. Check-in was easy, and the hosts were very friendly and responsive. The cabin is beautiful, and the photos donât do it justice. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch, watching the river go byâŠvery peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Overall, it was beautiful and we had a wonderful timeâŠhope to come back someday. Thanks Rick and Stacy! :)
This was our second year spending Christmas in this cabin, and we had an amazing time! The cabin is spacious. We had a couple of small issues and the owners were very responsive. We plan to stay again!
Our extended family of 11 stayed over Thanksgiving week and we had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for all of us and the view was amazing. The house has everything you need for a weeks stay and we would stay again if in the area. We visited Crater of Diamonds State Park and Hot Springs National Park, both were a short drive from the house. The house was also nicely decorated for Christmas with 3 trees which was nice for the holiday season.
Neat place right on the river with plenty of space for the whole family.
We put our tubes in at the house and floated to the public access point in Glenwood,. It was a nice short 1-2 hour float!
It was very hot and humid while we were there...the a/c worked well.
There was a delay with getting check-in information, but property manager got it taken care of right away.
No foosball table as advertised.
Maybe a fan on the deck would have allowed us to enjoy the outdoor space a bit more.
Also, there seemed to be an excessive amount of spiders đŹ.
We did drive to Hot Springs to explore and to take our jeeps to the off-road park, it is about 45 minutes away.
We went to Lake Ouachita about an hour away.
We also found many forest service roads to drive.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this location to others.
Great location on the river! Foosball table was not there as advertised and outside furniture was in pretty bad shape. Other than that, everything was perfect. Lots of space!!!
We had a fabulous time for our first time there. We have been going to Oklahoma for years now and this year decided to change. The house was beautiful and fit our needs. The area was perfect and we enjoyed meeting our surroundings neighbors. We plan on going back next year. If I had to put negatives it would be the grass between the houses and the River needed to be mowed and where you have to take your trash is disgusting. A dumpster would be a lot better. I have never had to open a storage building and just pitch the garbage bags in. Livin On The Edge did not disappoint.
Living on the edge was a beautiful cabin and very spacious for our large group. It had everything you needed and more!! We loved being on the water, watching the kids play with our dog in the huge field, and watching the kids play in the water from the balcony. Plenty of covered parking for our 3 vehicles. Communication with the owner was great. Always a quick response.
Our group of 10 that stayed at Living on the Edge are old high school friends that have been doing an annual canoe trip for 12+ years. This place is by far the best place we have ever stayed. The house is top notch from top to bottom. Plenty of space and the layout is great with super easy access to the Caddo. We will be staying here again and I highly recommend Living on the Edge for a group or family stay.
Great location. Can sit outside and hear the water. The only downside to this place is no indoor table where we could sit around a table for indoor game playing or seeing each other when eating. Everything was set up for a long bar line up. Some of us were too old to sit on the floor. :)
Wasnt as clean as our 1st stay 2 years ago. Low on toliet tissue and paper towels, door lock was not functioning properly. The small step by the grill is a safety hazard. All and all not a bad stay and the host was responsive.
