This always a perfect home for our family fall getaway! The views from it are stunning. And it’s truly right on the river. You have to take the path down to check out the river and skip some rocks! Kids loved the front swing too! Hot tub was super hot and so amazing! We had an amazing time!

Great stay. Beautiful view of mountains and river. We saw deer in backyard. Enjoyed the hot tub as well as the deck gas fireplace. Seating on deck was comfortable and we spent good outdoor time there. The home was clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed the town of Glenwood Springs as well as day trip to Aspen and Maroon Bells. Thank you to owner who was available with a few quick questions we had. Would go back.

We stayed at this location for work. It was myself, my son, and 2 other workers. We chose this place because it was a chance to fly fish after work, and it had a hot tub. When we first opened the door to the location, it had an awful mildew smell, that stayed around for 2 days. It eventually went away with keeping the doors open. The furniture is out dated, and needs to be replaced. The tub in the master bedroom is Pink in color. The propery owner, is very rude. On the 3rd night of our stay we were in the hot tub, no music playing just talking. The owner had texted me to go in side or talk lower. My phone was on the charger so I didnt happen to see it. The owner came up on the side of the house and said "Im the owner of the Property you need to keep it down". We explained we were just talking and not being loud? We lowered our voices and continued to talk. 30 Mins later the Propery owner flys down the drive way in his car, telling us to F'ing be quite and that his neighbor was going to call the cops? I explained we were not being loud at all, so we just went inside at that point. The owner is very rude. This place is right next to his neighbors house, so any noise they complain I guess. We rent all of the time for work on VRBO, and have never ran into someone as rude, as this guy. Do yourself a favor and find a place that is in a better location. Its close the river, but you have to walk down a dirt path, and the property smells, and is in need of an upgrade.

The place was even more beautiful than the pictures show. It was a perfect place for our family of 7 to use as a home base for our CO vacation. The location on the river is beautiful and we loved watching the sun set and moon rise over the mountains each night from the deck. Kenny is a great host and was great to work with. We loved Glenwood Springs

Nice Place to Stay!!!

This is a beautiful home. Nice and clean! Easy access to Glenwood Springs and has awesome bike paths. Nice and quiet with the river running along side of it. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the river.

The property was perfect for a family of 4 and a mother in law. Our kids ages 9,11 had a blast in the basement (they called it a bunker) . They felt a sense of independence with their own space, complete with bathroom and their own TV. I enjoyed the nightly visits by a bear that you could see off the main deck. My wife would say differently LOL. Overall the property was as it was advertised and everyone enjoyed the stay and enjoyed the hot tub.

Riverfront Retreat

This property and its location were the cherry on top of a fun weekend spent in Glenwood Springs. Its location just outside of downtown was perfect for outings in town. The back deck has one of the best views I've ever seen in Glenwood, and you can hear the river flowing nearby. The beds are comfortable, and the common spaces had plenty of space for our group. The beds were comfortable, and the amenities were nice, especially the hot tub!My only feedback is that a sheet with instructions about Wi-Fi and how to turn the firepit on etc. would have been nice. However, the hosts were able to help when there were questions. Would definitely stay here again and recommend!

Best Location In Town

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. We really couldnt have found a better location for what we were wanting to do while in Glenwood Springs.Pros: -Location: Just far enough away from downtown to feel like you're in the mnts. Yes, you can see downtown and hear traffic during rush hour. But overwise, it's a peaceful location. We even saw bald eagles flying over the house a few evenings at dusk! Mnt views are majestic and river below the house is the cherry on top. We were there during spring break and had no issues with traffic and pulling out of the driveway.- Space: We had two teens with us. They loved the downstairs bunk room and space to call their own. We gathered in the family room to talk and watch TV in front of the fireplace. The fireplace heats the whole house! We ate dinner at the large dining table that is next to the open kitchen. We ate at the house every evening after skiing on Sunlight Mountain. -Fully stocked: Kitchen had everything!! Kenny even dropped off a cheese grater when we were looking for one. Also we had an issue with the microwave and he went out and bought another for us the next day!-Hot Tub: We all agreed this was the best part of the house! Clean:)-Great communication: Kenny lived close and responds quickly to any questions or needs you have.- 15 min to Sunlight Mnt if you're skiing.Cons: -One of the couches is worn, but still very comfortable.- The guest King bed is VERY firm. Too firm for us but maybe someone else prefers that.

The Hot Tub is everything!

We enjoyed the space for two families on a ski trip. The bunk room was great for the kids. Loved the outdoor space, and the hot tub was a hit. Nice to enjoy the views and the river from the deck. The kitchen was well organized and well stocked. We appreciated the snow shovel and snow plow that came by as well! Would highly recommend!

The Perfect House!!

We loved this house! The layout, the location everything was great! Only a few minutes from downtown and about 15-20mins from the slopes (depending on how much snow). Would highly recommend this location. And Glenwood Springs is a dream. Can’t wait to go back!

Disappointing experience

We were so looking forward to this stay. I am a property manager and have owned and operated a VRBO. I relied completely on the photos and descriptions online to choose this property , and I found in so many ways it was lacking and that the photos were much better than the real thing. We thought we were renting a property on a quiet street with a beautiful view of the river. Quite to the contrary, there were two parallel streets, one right in front of the property and one right across the river that were very noisy. There was such an ongoing traffic jam that a driver would have to graciously stop to allow us to get out of the driveway. Then as opposed to being able to see the river, you could barely glimpse it between the overgrown trees, and couldn’t hear it due to the traffic noise. Besides a letdown on the location, inside the property, it looked like all expenses have been spared in the furnishings. I will say we had comfortable beds and the second bathroom shower was nicely redone. When watching TV, the couches were very uncomfortable and one looked as though it was needing to have been replaced a few years ago. There was no kind of manual that came with the Property to know how to work anything. When we contacted the owner with questions he was helpful. All glasses and plates, etc. were plastic & kitchen was minimal in quality. Needs some TLC. For the price we paid none of us felt value was received.

Enjoyable time in Glenwood

My family and I enjoyed our stay. We were excited about the hot tub and the fire pit on the patio. Our evenings were spent outside enjoying the cooler weather and the fresh air. It took some time and effort to figure out the fire pit, but we figured it out on our second night and enjoyed the fire until we heard the crash of a trashcan from a passing black bear. We spent most nights eating at the house. We had to go to the store for a cheese grater and we improvised when we needed a basting brush. We looked for some welcoming information from you when we first arrived, but we figured things out as we went along. We loved the location and spending time outdoors.
